Abstract

본 발명의 실시예는 멀티 플레인 영상의 부호화 시 컬러 플레인 상호간의 상관 관계를 이용해서 효율적인 예측화면을 만들어 내기 위한 기술에 관한 것으로, 2개 이상의 컬러 플레인을 포함하는 멀티 플레인 영상의 부호화 장치에 있어서, 현재 플레인의 현재 블록에 대해, 그 현재 블록의 주변 블록을 근거로 인트라 예측을 수행하여 제 1 예측 블록을 생성하는 인트라 예측부 상기 현재 블록에 대응하는 복원된 이전 플레인의 해당 블록을 근거로 인터 플레인 예측을 수행하여 제 2 예측 블록을 생성하는 인터 플레인 예측부 상기 제 1 예측 블록 및 상기 제 2 예측 블록에 근거하여 제 3 예측 블록을 생성하는 듀얼 플레인 예측부 상기 제 1 내지 제 3 예측 블록 중 부호화 효율이 가장 높은 1개의 최적 예측 블록을 선택하는 최적 모드 결정부 및 상기 선택된 최적 예측 블록에 근거하여 상기 현재 블록을 부호화 또는 복호화하는 부호화부 또는 복호화부를 포함한다.
