Abstract
L'invention concerne un circuit convertisseur matriciel à n niveaux symétriques par phase comprenant n bras de conversion alimentés respectivement par n niveaux de tensions symétriques intermédiaires et reliés en sortie en un point commun générant un courant de sortie. Selon l'invention, ce circuit comprend: deux bras externes respectivement alimentés par le plus élevé niveau de tension positive et par le plus faible niveau de tension négative, ces deux bras externes comportant chacun un unique transistor IGBT, et deux transistors IGBT reliés en série par leur émetteur sur chacune des n-2 bras internes.
