Description

Halteprofil für ein rahmenloses flächiges Glaselement  Retaining profile for a frameless flat glass element
The invention relates to a retaining profile for a frameless planar glass element, for example door element or wall element, with a base region and two side regions, which form a U-shaped receptacle for an edge region of the glass element.
In glass partitions, for example in office buildings, department stores, banks, etc., with essentially frameless door systems (hinged doors and sliding doors), it is known to fasten the fittings for the frameless doors to holes in the door leaf and in adjacent glass elements.
Thus, for example, EP 1 916 371 A2 discloses frameless sliding elements with the aid of two lugs with support rollers on the running surface of a running rail fastened to the fixed glass element. For the attachment of the sliding door elements corresponding holes are provided to secure the glass elements by means of screws to the tabs.
Furthermore, DE 103 29 518 A1 discloses a completely covered attachment of the upper glass rim of a frameless sliding door element, in which the carriage of the sliding door received in the interior of a guide rail is fastened to the upper edge of the sliding door and to two undercuts of a groove-shaped receptacle of the guide rail is guided. The carriage consists essentially of two lateral cheeks, between which a support body is arranged, which essentially has a height corresponding to the glass thickness. Left and right of the support body are the two support screws, which are received by corresponding holes in the glass element. The design achieves an appealing overall appearance, as all fastening elements for the glass element remain invisible to the outside. However, the construction is relatively expensive and expensive, since the glass elements per carriage used at least require a peripheral recess for the support body and two holes for the support screws, their production is particularly expensive in tempered safety glass.
The object of the present invention is to propose a retaining profile for frameless, flat glass elements, in particular door elements or wall elements, which correspond to the high aesthetic requirements in the case of partition walls with frameless glass elements and are nevertheless inexpensive to produce. This object is achieved in that in the base region and in the two side regions of the holding profile adhesive channels are formed, which are bounded by the end face and the side surfaces of the glass element inserted into the U-shaped receptacle, and record in point-like areas an adhesive that the Fix the glass element to the retaining profile.
The holding profile according to the invention is characterized in particular by the fact that the bonding takes place in precisely defined punctiform areas which are delimited from one another. Dis glass elements must be equipped in the holding area with no holes or with recesses, whereby the production cost can be reduced and the production costs can be significantly reduced.
According to the invention, bores are arranged in the base region of the U-shaped receptacle at regular intervals, which form access openings to the front adhesive channel and at the same time cut the two lateral adhesive channels so that the adhesive can be fed into all the adhesive channels simultaneously through a portion of the bores and the remaining part of the bores Vent opening during introduction of the adhesive and serves as a ventilation opening during curing of the adhesive.
Previously known adhesive strips, for example in the form of all-round frame profiles in shower partitions, have a full-surface bonding, in which the adhesive is first dosed into the U-profile and the glass element is inserted thereafter. It is also known to apply or apply the adhesive to the glass element and then insert the glass element together with adhesive in the U-profile. In these known measures the inclusion of air bubbles in the adhesive surface is unavoidable and also the supply of air for curing the adhesive is not given sufficiently. The well-known, full-surface bonding is therefore not suitable to take on carrying functions, which is made possible only by the inventive design of the holding profile.
B. Merbenit® HS 60 : www.merz-benteli.ch). According to the invention, the adhesive here forms a plurality of spaced-apart adhesive dots or adhesive areas, which comprise the edge region of the glass element on the front side and on the two side surfaces like a pincers. Preference is given to using a one-component adhesive of a solvent-free, isocyanate-free, modified polymer, preferably an MS hybrid polymer (eg Merbenit® HS 60: www.merz-benteli.ch).

The holding profile 1 shown in Figures 1 to 7 is used for supporting attachment to frameless, flat glass elements 10, for example, a sliding or revolving door element, wherein the holding profile 1 has a base portion 2 and two side portions 3, 4, which has a U-shaped receptacle for the edge region of the glass element 10 form. Both in the base region 2 and in the two side regions 3, 4 of the holding profile 1 adhesive channels 5, 6, 7 are formed, which are limited by the end face 11 and the two side surfaces 12 after insertion of the glass element.
In the base region 2 of the U-shaped receptacle bores 13 are arranged at regular intervals, form the access openings to the frontal adhesive channel 5 and simultaneously cut the two lateral adhesive channels 6, 7. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the adhesive can be supplied through a portion of the holes 13, for example, every second hole in the adhesive areas 8 and thus simultaneously enters the frontal adhesive channel 5 and the two lateral adhesive channels 6, 7, wherein the remaining part of the holes 13 as Vent opening during introduction of the adhesive 9 is used. The adhesive can thus flow without the formation of air bubbles in the adhesive channels, wherein a in FIG. 5 developed structure of the glue dot developed. In the direction of the adhesive channels, free surfaces of the adhesive form, which are ventilated via the free bores 13 (see FIG. 4, middle bore) and thus contribute to the rapid, uniform hardening of the adhesive. The cured adhesive thus forms three spaced apart adhesive dots or adhesive areas a, b, c, which comprise the edge region of the glass element 10 on the end face 11 and on the two side surfaces 12 like tongs. As particularly in the enlarged view of FIG. 2, the frontal adhesive channel 5 in the base region 2 has two contact strips 14 for the end region 11 of the glass element 10, which are interrupted in the region of the bores 13. In this way, with each bore 13 access to both the frontal adhesive channel 5 and to the two laterally arranged adhesive channels 6 and 7 are generated. At the bore 13, a correspondingly shaped metering element of an adhesive syringe is attached and introduced a defined amount of adhesive.
According to the invention, the two lateral adhesive channels 6, 7 have opposite end strips 15, which clampingly receive the edge region of the glass element 10 and effectively prevent leakage of the adhesive 9 onto visible glass surfaces 20 of the glass element 10. After the introduction of the adhesive into the individual point-shaped adhesive areas 8, therefore, no cleaning work is to be carried out.
In the illustrated embodiment, the two lateral adhesive channels 6, 7 in the base region 2 of the holding profile 1 as a bore channels 16 which run parallel to the adhesive channels 6 and 7 and make the transition to the holes 13. In addition to the venting and ventilation for the adhesive 9, the drill channels 16 are used to hold connecting bolts, not shown here for attachment abutting profile ends. Furthermore, the drill channels can accommodate 16 screws with which (not shown here) end caps are attached to the support section 1.
The holding profile 1 can be fastened in a supporting function both at the upper edge of a sliding door (FIG. 7) and on the hinge side of a revolving door (FIG. 6) by spot bonding, wherein a plurality of receiving grooves are provided for fastening fitting elements. Thus, the base region 2 on the side facing away from the glass element 10 on an undercut receiving groove 17 for fastening of fitting elements (Fig. 1, Fig. 2).
