Für die Aufnahme des Geberzylinders 1 in bzw. an der Wand der Pedalbox ist dieser im Verbindungsbereich, insbesondere am Umfang seiner Mantelfläche entsprechend ausgebildet. So geht die Mantelfläche des Geberzylinders 1 in diesem Bereich in einen Bund 4 über, in dem diagonal zueinander beabstandet zwei Aussparungen 3 eingebracht sind. Axial diesem Bund 4 vorgelagert sind mehrere über den Umfang verteilt angeordnete, bogensegmentförmig ausgeführte Positionselemente 2 vorteilhafter Weise angegossen, die zu ebenfalls bogensegmentförmig angegossenen Arretierelementen 6 axial beabstandet sind. Durch diese Positionierelemente 14, in Verbindung mit den Aussparungen 3, wird die gewünschte Lage des Adapters 7L auf dem Geberzylinder 1 sichergestellt, wobei die Positioniersegmente 2 und 9 zur Unterstützung einer Verdrehsicherung beider Teile zueinander dienen. Hieraus wird weiter deutlich, dass zwischen dem Bund 4 des Geberzylinders 1 eine Dichtung 13 angeordnet ist, so dass die Durchführung des Geberzylinders 1 durch die Wand in der Pedalbox 12 von der Dichtung 13 abgedichtet und damit gegen eindringenden Schmutz geschützt ist. Ebenfalls ist zur Abdichtung der in der Spritzwand 11 eingebrachten Öffnung zur Aufnahme des Adapters 7L die an ihm befestigte Dichtung 7b vorgesehen. Da diese Dichtung 7b aus porösem Material besteht, kann sie beim Montageprozess so verformt werden, dass ihre Ränder die Spritzwandöffnung umschließen. Durch die Elastizität der Dichtung 7b infolge des für diese entsprechend eingesetzten Materials, können außer den Lagetoleranzen des mit dem Adapter 7L komplettierten Geberzylinders 1 auch Toleranzen der Kegelstumpfform des Adapters 7L ausgeglichen werden. Die unterschiedliche Gestaltung des Adapters für die jeweilige Einsatzvariante des Geberzylinders 1 wird aus den Schnittdarstellungen der Figuren 6 und 7 deutlich. Während in Figur 6 die bereits bekannte Ausgestaltung des Adapters 7L dargestellt ist, wird in Figur 7 die mögliche Form eines Adapters 7R für ein von einem Rechtslenker betriebenes Fahrzeug veranschaulicht. Die unterschiedlich gestalteten Formen der beiden Adapter 7R, 7L sind abhängig von der Lage der beiden zueinander verlaufenden Ebenen, der Ebene der Spritzwand zur Ebene der Stirnfläche des Geberzylinderbundes 4 (beziehungsweise der Ebene der senkrechten zur Symmetrieachse des Geberzylinders 1 ) sowie von der unterschiedlichen Größe der Durchmesser der Aufnahmeöffnungen in den Wänden. Während in Figur 6 der aus den vorhergehenden Figuren ersichtliche Winkel α zwischen beiden Ebenen vorhanden ist, verlaufen in Figur 7 die beiden Ebenen nahezu parallel zueinander. Patentansprüche claims

Hydraulikzylinder, insbesondere Geberzylinder (1 ), mit einer Einrichtung (7R, 7L) zur Befestigung in einer in der Spritzwand (11 ) eines Fahrzeuges vorgesehenen Öffnung und Elementen zur dichten Befestigung in einer Öffnung einer Wand einer Pedalbox (12), wobei die verbleibende Öffnung zwischen Geberzylinder (1 ) und Spritzwand (11 ) von einem elastischen Dichtelement (7b) abgedichtet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mittels der Einrichtung (7R, 7L), die am Geberzylinder (1 ) lagefixiert befestigt ist, der Abstand zwischen der Öffnung in der Spritzwand (11 ) und der Öffnung in der Wand der Pedalbox (12), in der der Geberzylinder (1 ) aufgenommenen ist und deren Lage zueinander ausgeglichen wird.
