- valve housing being provided with an internal volume corresponding to the dose of fluid to be sprayed, the housing being further provided with guide means to restrict the directional movement of the valve stem between a first position when the sealing means does not close the valve housing inlet and a second position where the valve stem has been tilted and the sealing means positioned in sealing engagement with the valve housing inlet to close the fluid pathway between said reservoir and said valve housing;
- valve stem inlet is sealed closed against a resilient grommet in the first position and which is spaced from said grommet in the second position.

- the housing being further provided with guide means to restrict the directional movement of the valve stem from a first position when the sealing means does not close the valve housing inlet and the valve stem inlet is sealed closed against the resilient grommet, and a second position where tilting of the valve stem moves the sealing means into sealing engagement to close the valve housing inlet and which opens the valve stem fluid inlet by moving the stem and its fluid inlet away from the grommet.

- the seeling means is curved to correspond to the curved shape of the valve housing adjacent the valve housing inlet 14.
- a reservoir (not shown) is connected to the housing inlet 14 via diptube 26 to form a fluid pathway therebetween.
- the sealing means 22 is not in sealed engagement with the housing inlet 14, thus permitting fluid to flow from the reservoir via the diptube 26 into the interior of the housing 12.
- the fluid is retained in the interior of the housing as a valve stem inlet 28 is sealed shut against the side of the grornmet 18.

Abstract
La présente invention se rapporte à un aérosol pourvu d'une valve de dosage basculante comprenant une tige de valve (12) pourvue d'un orifice d'entrée (28) et d'un orifice de sortie (24) ; une voie pour fluide se situant entre ledit réservoir, ladite tige de valve (12) et ledit logement de valve (10) ; l'orifice de sortie (24) de la tige de valve étant sensiblement distal par rapport au réservoir et extérieur au logement de valve (10), et un moyen d'étanchéité (22) à l'autre extrémité de la tige à l'intérieur du logement, le logement de valve (10) étant pourvu d'un volume interne correspondant à la dose de fluide à pulvériser, le logement (10) étant en outre pourvu d'un moyen de guidage pour limiter le déplacement directionnel de la tige de valve (12) entre une première position lorsque le moyen d'étanchéité (22) ne ferme pas l'orifice d'entrée (14) du logement de valve et une seconde position où la tige de valve (12) a basculé et le moyen d'étanchéité (22) est positionné en prise d'étanchéité avec l'orifice d'entrée (14) du logement de valve afin de fermer la voie pour fluide entre ledit réservoir et le logement de valve (10) ; et l'orifice d'entrée (28) de la tige de valve est scellé contre une rondelle élastique (18) dans la première position et espacé de ladite rondelle (18) dans la seconde position.
