Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé, un dispositif et un système permettant à un équipement terminal de communications du type machine (équipement terminal MTC) d'accéder à un réseau. Selon ce procédé : un équipement terminal MTC reçoit un message à diffusion générale en provenance d'une station de base, ce message comprenant les informations de contrôle d'accès qui correspondent au niveau de contrôle d'accès de l'équipement terminal MTC, différent ou identique aux niveaux de contrôle d'accès des autres types d'équipements terminaux du réseau, et comprenant également des bits de paramètres d'indication qui permettent d'identifier les types d'équipements terminaux MTC et les autres types d'équipements terminaux du réseau à ce niveau; l'équipement terminal MTC détermine, en fonction des informations de contrôle d'accès, s'il peut accéder au réseau, et il effectue les opérations d'accès correspondantes. La présente invention assure un contrôle plus souple de l'accès d'un équipement terminal MTC, et contribue ainsi à limiter les risques d'encombrement du réseau.
