본 발명은 진공가열을 이용하여 PCBs에 오염된 처리 대상물을 처리하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치에 관한 것이다. 개시발명은 장입된 처리 대상물을 진공상태에서 가열하는 진공가열로, 상기 진공가열로에서 배출되는 유기물 가스를 응축 분리시키는 콘덴서, 및 상기 콘덴서에서 응축 분리된 난분해성 유기물을 이송받아 유기물에 포함된 PCBs를 처리하는 PCBs 처리장치를 포함한다. 따라서, 처리 대상물을 진공상태에서 가열하게 되므로, 절연유와 같은 유기물의 끓는점이 낮아져 가열에 필요한 에너지량을 줄일 수 있으며, 절연지 및 목재 등과 같은 함침성 부재와 미세하고 복잡한 구조를 갖는 철심 및 코일에 잔류하고 있던 절연유를 완전 제거하게 된다.

Description

난분해성 유기물 처리장치 및 그 처리방법
본 발명은 난분해성 유기물 처리장치 및 그 처리방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 진공가열을 이용하여 PCBs(Polychlorinated biphenyls, 폴리염화바이페닐)에 오염된 처리 대상물을 처리하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치 및 그 처리방법에 관한 것이다.
PCBs는 두 개의 페닐기(phenyl group : C6H5 -)에 결합되어 있는 수소원자가 염소로 치환된 화합물로서, 모노염화바이페닐(Monochlorinated biphenyl)에서 데카염화바이페닐(Decachlorinated biphenyl)에 이르기까지 총 209종의 이성체가 있다.
PCBs는 1929년 미국에서 상업적으로 생산된 이래로 사용이 중지될 때까지 다양한 상품명을 가지고 전 세계적으로 생산되었으며, 뛰어난 절연특성으로 변압기 및 축전지의 절연유, 윤활유, 가소제, 도료 및 복사지 등 다양한 용도로 사용되었다.
이러한 PCBs는 독성이 강할 뿐만 아니라 잘 분해되지 않아 생물에 잔류하여 농축되는 것으로 밝혀지면서, 1970년대 들어 세계 각국에서는 PCBs의 생산과 사용을 금지하기에 이르렀다. PCBs에 노출되었을 때는 피부질환, 간기능 이상, 면역기능 장애, 생식기능 이상, 신경 및 내분비계 장애등이 나타날 수 있다.
이에, 전 세계적으로 PCBs의 효율적인 처리를 위한 다양한 연구가 수행되어 왔다. PCBs의 처리기술로는 크게 소각에 의한 분해처리 기술, 대체처리 기술, 재활용 기술로 구분할 수 있다. 이 가운데 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 처리방법은 분해처리 기술의 일종인 고온소각 기술이다. 이 기술은 절연유를 1100℃ 이상의 고온에서 2초 이상 체류시켜 PCBs를 분해하는 방법으로, 처리속도가 빠르다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 소각과정에서 연소조건이 불량한 경우에는 PCBs보다 독성이 강한 다이옥신류가 부산물로 생성되는 것으로 보고되어 있다.
PCBs의 처리기술로는 전술한 기술들 외에 열분해법, UV(자외선) 조사법, 용융나트륨 처리법, 플라즈마 이용법 등이 있다. 재활용 기술은 주로 물리·화학적인 방법을 이용하는 기술로, 촉매를 이용한 탈염소법, 금속나트륨 분산유 탈염소화법, 화학추출분해법 등이 알려져 있다.
한편, PCBs에 오염된 변압기를 세정하는 방법으로는, 변압기로부터 PCBs로 오염된 폐유를 수거하여 상기한 각종 처리방법으로 처리하고, 변압기에 잔류하고 있는 잔류폐유를 처리하기 위하여 변압기를 해체한 후 촉매나 유기 용매 등을 이용하여 고압 세정하는 방법이 일반적이다.
이러한 종래의 처리방법이 대한민국에 특허출원되어(등록번호 10-0779528호, 10-0749898호, 10-0740919호, 10-0545687호, 10-0733571호) 공고된 바 있다.
그러나, 이들 특허는 고압 세정으로 변압기 내부에 잔류하고 있는 절연유를 제거하는 경우, 미세하고 복잡한 구조의 방열판, 철심 및 권선의 안쪽에 스며있는 절연유가 잘 씻겨 나오지 않기 때문에 PCBs의 완전제거가 어렵다는 문제점이 있다. 특히, 변압기 부재로 사용되고 있는 절연지나 목재 등은 철심이나 코일과는 달리 절연유가 재질 내부로 침투할 수 있는 함침성 재질이어서 고압세정 등의 방법을 이용해서는 재질 내부로 깊숙히 침투한 절연유를 완전히 제거하기 곤란한 문제점도 있다.
이에, 본 발명의 목적은 상술한 문제점을 해소하기 위해 안출된 것으로, 복잡한 구조로 된 변압기의 방열판, 철심 및 권선의 안쪽에 스며있는 절연유도 완전 제거할 수 있고, 절연지나 목재 등과 같은 함침성 재질의 내부에 침투한 절연유의 경우에도 완전 제거할 수 있는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치 및 그 처리방법을 제공하는데 있다.
본 발명에 따른 난분해성 유기물 처리장치는, 장입된 처리 대상물을 진공상태에서 가열하는 진공가열로, 상기 진공가열로에서 배출되는 유기물 가스를 응축 분리시키는 콘덴서, 및 상기 콘덴서에서 응축 분리된 난분해성 유기물을 이송받아 유기물에 포함된 PCBs를 처리하는 PCBs 처리장치를 포함한다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 난분해성 유기물 처리방법은, 처리 대상물을 진공가열로에 장입시키고 진공을 형성하는 단계, 상기 진공가열로의 내부에 열을 가하여 상기 처리 대상물에 묻어 있는 유기물을 증발시키는 단계, 증발된 유기물 가스를 콘덴서를 이용하여 응축 분리시키는 단계, 및 응축 분리된 유기물을 PCBs 처리장치로 이송시켜 PCBs를 처리하는 단계를 포함한다.
이와 같은 본 발명에 따른 난분해성 유기물 처리장치 및 그 처리방법에 의하면, 다음과 같은 효과를 가지게 된다.
첫째, 변압기를 진공상태에서 가열하게 되므로, 절연유의 끓는점이 낮아져 가열에 필요한 에너지량을 줄일 수 있고, 가열과정중 타르 등과 같은 불순물의 발생을 최소화할 수 있으며, 다이옥신 등 2차 오염물질의 발생도 방지할 수 있다.
둘째, 전압조정기로 변압기에 전압을 인가하여 변압기 자체에서 발열시키고, 이 열을 진공가열로를 가열하는 보조열원으로 사용하도록 이루어짐으로써, 절연지 및 목재 등과 같은 함침성 부재와 미세하고 복잡한 구조를 갖는 방열판, 철심 및 코일에 잔류하고 있던 절연유를 완전 제거할 수 있으며, 전체적인 가열시간을 단축시킬 수 있다.
셋째, 콘덴서를 통해 응축 분리되지 않은 가스 또는 불순물을 버블러, 오일 스크러버 및 액적 제거기를 통해 추가로 제거하도록 이루어짐으로써, 처리효율을 증대시킬 수 있다.
넷째, 오일 저장조에 저장된 액상의 오일 및 진공가열로의 냉각과정에서 발생되는 냉각가스가 PCBs처리장치로 이송되어 처리되도록 이루어짐으로써, 액체 및 기체상태의 PCBs를 동시에 처리할 수 있으며, PCBs가 처리된 오일 및 청정가스만이 외부로 배출되므로 환경오염을 예방할 수 있다.

도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 난분해성 유기물 처리장치를 나타낸 블록도이고, 도 2는 처리대상물과 전압조정기의 연결상태를 보인 도면이며, 도 3은 복수 개의 처리대상물과 전압조정기의 연결상태를 보인 도면이다.
본 발명에 따른 난분해성 유기물 처리장치는, 진공가열로(10), 전압조정기(20), 콘덴서(30), 오일 저장조(40) 및 PCBs처리장치(50)를 포함한다. 또한, 진공가열로(10)에는 질소봄베(60) 및 송풍기(70)가 연결되며, 콘덴서(30)에는 버블러(80), 오일 스크러버(90) 및 액적제거기(100)가 연결된다.
상기 진공가열로(10)는 장입된 처리 대상물 즉, 변압기(T)를 진공상태에서 가열한다. 이 때, 진공가열로(10)는 히터를 이용해 내부로 복사열을 방출할 수 있도록 구성되며, 진공가열로(10)의 내부온도는 150~500℃로 유지된다. 이러한 진공가열로(10)는 1차,2차 진공펌프(110)(120)에 의해 진공을 형성한다.
한편, 진공가열로(10)의 표면에는 열손실 방지를 위해 진공자켓(미도시)이 감싸진다. 이러한 진공자켓은 1,2차 진공펌프(110)(120) 및 배기밸브(미도시)에 의해 그 내부가 진공 또는 대기압 상태로 자유롭게 전환된다.
상기 전압조정기(20)는 진공가열로(10)의 내부가 가열되는 동안에 변압기(T)에 전압을 인가한다. 따라서 변압기(T) 자체에서 발열된다. 이러한 전압조정기(20)는 진공가열로(10)의 압력이 400~760torr로 유지된 상태에서 변압기(T)에 200~800V의 전압을 인가한다.
전압조정기(20)의 출력단자는 변압기(T)의 1차측 코일과 결선(21)되며, 변압기(T)의 2차측 코일은 단락결선(22)된다. 전압조정기(20)를 통해 변압기(T)에 전압이 인가되면 코일 자체의 저항에 의해 발열된다. 이 때 발생된 열은 진공가열로(10)에서 가해지는 복사열의 보조열원으로서, 진공가열로(10)에서의 가열시간을 단축시킨다. 또한, 미세하고 복잡한 구조의 방열판, 철심 및 코일 내부에 침투한 난분해성 유기물 즉, 절연유를 효과적으로 증발시킨다.
한편, 도 3에서 보는 바와 같이, 진공가열로(10)에는 복수개의 변압기(T)가 장입될 수 있다. 이 때 변압기(T)들은 병렬로 연결된다. 따라서, 하나의 전압조정기(20)를 이용해 복수 개의 변압기(T)에 전압을 동시에 인가할 수 있다.
상기 콘덴서(30)는 진공가열로(10)에서 증발되는 유기물 가스를 통과시키면서 액상으로 분리한다. 콘덴서(30)는 증발가스 이송배관(130)을 통해 진공가열로(10)와 연결된다.
이러한 콘덴서(30)는 후술할 오일 저장조(40)와 연결되어 있어, 콘덴서(30)에서 응축된 유기물 즉, 응축오일은 오일 저장조(40)로 이송되어 저장된다.
상기 오일 저장조(40)는 응축오일 이송배관(140)(150)을 통해 진공가열로(10) 및 콘덴서(30)와 연결된다. 따라서, 진공가열로(10) 및 콘덴서(30)에서 응축된 절연유는 각각 오일 저장조(40)로 이송된다.
또한, 오일 저장조(40)에는 후술할 버블러(80), 오일 스크러버(90), 액적제거기(100)가 각각 연결되어, 이들로부터 걸러지는 오일들도 오일 저장조(40)로 이송된다.
상기 PCBs처리장치(50)는 오일 저장조(40) 및 진공가열로(10)와 각각 연결된다. PCBs처리장치(50)와 오일 저장조(40) 사이에는 오일탱크(160)가 구비되고, 이러한 세 구성요소들의 사이에는 오일을 이송하기 위한 이송펌프(170)(180)가 각각 구비된다. PCBs처리장치(50)와 진공가열로(10)는 냉각가스 이송배관(190)으로 연결된다.
PCBs처리장치(50)에서는 플라즈마, 고온소각, 고온용융 및 화학적 처리방법을 통해 PCBs를 분해 처리한다.
상기 질소봄베(60)는 질소가스를 저장하고 있는 고압용기로서, 진공가열로(10)에 질소가스를 공급한다. 질소봄베(60)를 통한 질소공급은 두 차례에 걸쳐 이루어진다. 즉, 진공가열로(10)를 진공상태로 만드는 과정에서 한번의 질소공급이 이루어지고, 처리가 끝난 변압기(T)를 진공가열로(10)로부터 꺼내기 전 진공가열로(10)의 내부 및 변압기(T)를 냉각시키기 위해 또 한번의 질소공급이 이루어진다.
상기 송풍기(70)는 진공가열로(10)에 공기를 공급하는 것으로, 처리가 끝난 변압기(T)를 진공가열로(10)에서 꺼내기 전에 공기를 공급하여 진공가열로(10) 및 변압기(T)를 냉각시키게 된다.
상기 버블러(80)는 콘덴서(30) 및 오일 저장조(40)와 연결되어, 콘덴서(30)에서 응축 분리되지 않고 배출되는 오일가스 또는 불순물을 거른 후 이를 오일 저장조(40)로 이송한다. 이 때, 버블러(80)의 내부에는 비중이 0.7~0.9인 오일이 충진된다. 오일의 충진량은 진공가열로(10)에서 생성된 증발가스의 생성량과 1,2차 진공펌프(110)(120)의 용량을 고려하여 결정된다. 콘덴서(30)로부터 배출되는 오일가스 또는 불순물은 오일이 충진된 버블러(80)의 하부로 공급되어 버블러(80)의 오일과 섞인다.
상기 오일 스크러버(90)는 버블러(80) 및 오일 저장조(40)와 연결되어, 버블러(80)로부터 배출되는 오일가스 또는 불순물을 재차 걸러준다. 오일 스크러버(90) 내에는 기체와 액체의 접촉면적을 증가시켜주기 위해 비표면적이 큰 스테인레스 스틸 재질의 충진재(91)가 장입되어 있으며, 충진재(91)의 상방에는 노즐(92)이 설치된다. 오일 스크러버(90)에는 오일 스크러버(90) 하부에 채워진 스크러빙 오일을 오일 스크러버(90)의 상부로 이송하는 순환펌프(200)가 연결된다.
이 때, 노즐(92)은 분사각이 60~120도이며, 노즐(92)로부터 분사되는 액체 및 기체 혼합물의 분사면은 오일 스크러버(90)의 횡단면적보다 1.1배 이상이 되도록 조정된다. 오일 스크러버(90)의 하부에 충진되는 오일로는 제거 대상물과 분사성능을 고려하여 동점도가 40℃ 기준으로 1.5~20cSt인 것이 사용된다. 오일 스크러버(90)에서 순환펌프(200)에 의해 순환되는 스크러빙 오일과 가스는 체적비가 1:1,000~1:15,000으로 유지될 수 있도록 조절된다.
상기 액적제거기(100)는 오일 스크러버(90) 및 오일 저장조(40)와 연결되며, 그 내부에 공극이 0.2~50㎛인 필터(101)가 내장된다. 오일 스크러버(90)에서 배출되는 액적이 포함된 가스는 액적제거기(100)와 연결된 1,2차 진공펌프(110)(120)의 작동에 의해 액적제거기(100)로 유입된다.
이 때, 오일 스크러버(90)에서 배출되는 가스는 액적제거기(100)의 하부로 유입되고, 액적이 제거된 가스는 액적제거기(100)의 상부를 통해 배출된다. 필터(101)는 액적제거기(100) 내에서 가스의 통로상에 설치되므로 가스에 포함된 액적 또는 불순물은 필터(101)에 의해 걸러진다.
한편, 액적제거기(100)에 연결된 제1,2차 진공펌프(110)(120)는 냉각가스 이송배관(190)을 통해 PCBs처리장치(50)와 연결된다.
이하에서는 도 4 내지 도 8을 참조하여 난분해성 유기물을 처리하는 과정을 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
도 4는 진공가열로에서의 작업공정을 나타낸 공정도이다.
먼저, 복수 개의 처리대상물 즉, 변압기(T)에 봉입된 절연유는 1차 제거되고, 제거된 절연유는 오일탱크(160)에 보관된다. 이처럼 절연유가 1차 제거된 변압기(T)는 진공가열로(10)에 장입되고 변압기(T)와 전압조정기(20)가 연결된다(S1).
이 때, 변압기(T)의 1차측 코일과 전압조정기(20)는 결선되고, 변압기(T)의 2차측 코일은 단락결선된다. 그리고, 변압기(T)들은 병렬로 연결된다. 변압기(T)의 장입시 작업자는 변압기(T)의 본체와 코일부분을 분리하여 장입할 수 있다. 이 경우, 변압기 본체를 납작하게 가공하여 최적을 최소화하고, 이들을 복수 개로 적층하여 동시에 장입할 수 있다.
변압기(T)의 장입후에는 제1,2진공펌프(110)(120)의 작동으로 진공가열로(10)가 일차 진공상태로 된다.(S2).
이어서, 질소봄베(60)로부터 진공가열로(10)에 질소가 충진되고, 진공가열로(10)의 히터가 작동하여 진공가열로(10) 내부를 150~500℃를 유지시킨다. 동시에 전압조정기(20)를 통해 변압기(T)의 1차측 코일에 200~800V의 전압이 인가된다(S3).
이때, 진공가열로(10)의 압력은 400~760torr를 유지하도록 조정된다. 변압기(T)에 전압이 인가되면 1,2차 코일에서는 자체의 저항에 의해 열이 발생한다. 이렇게 변압기(T) 자체에서 발생되는 열은 진공가열로(10)의 내부에서 가해지는 복사열의 보조열원으로서, 진공가열시간을 단축시킬 수 있고, 미세하고 복잡한 구조의 방열판, 철심 및 코일 내부에 침투한 절연유를 효과적으로 증발시킬 수 있다.
질소가 충진된 상태에서 가열이 완료된 후에는 전압조정기(20)의 전원이 차단되고, 제1,2진공펌프(110)(120)가 다시 작동하여 진공가열로(10) 내에 충진되어 있던 가스를 외부로 배출함으로써, 진공가열로(10)가 재차 진공상태로 된다(S4).
진공가열로(10)가 재차 진공상태가 된 후에도, 진공가열로(10)에 설치된 히터에 의해 진공가열로(10)의 내부가 150~500℃로 계속 유지된다. 이 때, 진공가열로(10) 내의 압력은 0.05~100torr를 유지한다.
전압조정기(20)에서 인가된 전압에 따른 75kVA 용량을 갖는 변압기(T) 코일의 승온 실시예는 아래의 표와 같다.

한편, 진공상태에서는 절연유의 끓는점이 낮아지기 때문에 낮은 온도로 가열해도 절연유가 증발한다. 따라서, 에너지를 절약할 수 있으며, 변압기(T)의 내부 재질중 절연지, 목재류 및 가스켓 등의 열분해를 방지할 수 있어 타르 등과 같은 불순물의 생성을 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 무산소 환경에서 PCBs에 오염된 절연유를 제거하기 때문에 다이옥신 등 2차 오염물질의 발생도 방지할 수 있다.
전술한 과정을 통해 변압기(T)에 묻어있던 절연유의 처리가 완료되면, 진공가열로(10)에 설치된 히터의 작동이 정지되어 가열공정이 멈추게 된다. 이어서 질소봄베(60) 또는 송풍기(70)를 통해 진공가열로(10) 내로 질소가스나 공기가 공급되어 가열된 진공가열로(10) 및 변압기(T)가 충분히 냉각된다(S5).
한편, 진공가열로(10)의 외부에 설치된 진공자켓은 진공가열로(10)의 가열시에는 진공을 유지하고, 냉각시에는 대기압을 유지함으로써 가열과 냉각효과를 향상시킨다. 즉, 가열시에는 진공을 유지하여 외부로의 열손실을 방지하게 되고, 냉각시에는 대기압을 유지하여 진공가열로(10) 내부의 열이 외부로 쉽게 빠져나갈 수 있도록 한다.
도 5는 진공가열로에서 발생된 증발가스의 처리과정을 나타낸 공정도이다.
진공가열로(10)에서 증발된 증발가스는 증발가스 이송배관(130)을 통해 콘덴서(30)로 이송된다(S11). 콘덴서(30)는 수냉식이며, 증발가스는 콘덴서(30)를 통과하면서 응축 분리된다(S12). 이렇게 응측 분리된 오일은 응축오일 이송배관(150)을 통해 오일 저장조(40)로 이송된다(S13).
오일 저장조(40)에 1차 저장된 오일은 이송펌프(170)를 통해 오일탱크(160)에 저장되고(S14), 오일탱크(160)에 저장된 오일은 이송펌프(180)를 통해 다시 PCBs 처리장치(50)로 이송된다(S15).
PCBs 처리장치(50)에서는 플라즈마, 고온소각, 고온용융 및 화학적 처리방법으로 PCBs 처리장치(50)로 유입된 오일 속에 포함된 PCBs를 분해한 후 정화된 오일만을 외부로 배출한다(S16).
도 6은 콘덴서에서 미분리된 가스의 처리과정을 나타낸 공정도이다.
상기 콘덴서(30)에서 응축 분리되지 못한 미분리 가스는 버블러(80)에서 1차 제거된다(S31).
콘덴서(30)에서 배출되는 미분리가스는 버블러(80)의 하부로 공급되어 버블러(80)에 충진된 오일에 섞인다. 오일에 섞인 가스는 기포가 되어 상승하면서 오일에 녹게 되며, 오일에 녹지 않은 가스는 오일의 상부에 형성된 공간으로 상승하게 된다. 오일에 녹은 절연유 또는 불순물은 오일 저장조(40)로 이송된다.
상기 버블러(80)에서 제거되지 못한 미분리 가스는 오일 스크러버(90)에서 2차 제거된다(S32).
버블러(80)에서 배출되는 미분리 가스는 오일 스크러버(90)의 하부로 공급된 후 스크러빙 오일을 통과하여 상부로 상승한다. 오일 스크러버(90)에 충진된 스크러빙 오일은 순환펌프(200)에 의해 오일 스크러버(90)의 상부로 이송된 후 노즐(92)을 통해 분사된다. 이 때, 순환펌프(200)에 의해 순환되는 스크러빙 오일과 기체의 체적비는 1:1,000~1:15,000을 유지하도록 조정된다.
노즐(92)을 통해 분사되는 오일은 비표면적이 큰 충진재(91)를 통과하게 되고, 이 과정에서 오일과 가스는 충분히 접촉하여 스크러빙 오일에 가스가 녹게 된다. 이렇게 스크러빙 오일에 녹은 절연유 또는 불순물은 오일 스크러버(90)의 하부에 모인 후 오일 저장조(40)로 이송된다.
상기 오일 스크러버(90)에서 제거되지 못한 미분리 가스는 액적제거기(100)에서 3차 제거된다.(S33)
오일 스크러버(90)에서 배출되는 미분리 가스는 액적제거기(100)의 하부로 공급된 후 액적제거기(100) 내에서 상승한다. 이 과정에서 가스에 포함된 오일의 액적 및 불순물 등은 필터(101)에 의해 걸러지고, 정화된 가스만이 필터(101)를 통과한 후 액적제거기(100)의 상부를 통해 배출된다. 액적제거기(100)에서 걸러진 절연유 또는 불순물은 오일 저장조(40)로 이송된다.
상기 액적제거기(100)를 통과한 정화가스는 제1,2진공펌프(110)(120) 및 냉각가스 이송배관(190)을 통해 PCBs처리장치(50)로 이송된다. PCBs처리장치(50)에서는 PCBs를 제거하고 청정가스만을 외부로 배출한다(S34).
도 7은 진공가열로에서 발생된 응축오일의 처리과정을 나타낸 공정도이다.
상기 진공가열로(10) 자체에서 응축되는 절연유는 응축오일 이송배관(140)을 통해 오일 저장조(40)로 직접 이송된다(S41). 이렇게 진공가열로(10)에서 발생되는 응축오일이 오일 저장조(40)로 직접 이송됨으로써, 진공가열로(10)에서 진공 가열해야 하는 절연유의 양이 줄어들기 때문에 진공가열 시간이 단축된다.
오일 저장조(40)에 1차 저장된 오일은 이송펌프(170)를 통해 오일탱크(160)에 저장되고(S42), 오일탱크(160)에 저장된 오일은 이송펌프(180)를 통해 다시 PCBs 처리장치(50)로 이송된다(S43).
PCBs 처리장치(50)에서는 플라즈마, 고온소각, 고온용융 및 화학적 처리방법으로 오일 속에 포함된 PCBs를 분해한 후 청정오일만을 외부로 배출한다(S44).
도 8은 진공가열로 냉각과정중 발생된 냉각가스의 처리과정을 나타낸 공정도이다.
상기 진공가열로(10)에서 변압기(T)에 묻어있던 절연유의 처리가 완료되어, 진공가열로(10) 내로 질소가스나 공기가 공급되면, 진공가열로(10)와 변압기(T)가 냉각되면서 냉각가스가 발생된다.
이렇게 발생된 냉각가스는 냉각가스 이송배관(190)을 통해 PCBs 처리장치(50)로 이송된다(S51). PCBs 처리장치(50)에서는 플라즈마, 고온소각, 고온용융 및 화학적 처리방법으로 가스 속에 포함된 PCBs를 분해한 후 청정가스만을 외부로 배출한다(S52).
이상에서 설명한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 바람직한 실시예를 기초로 설명하였으나, 본 발명은 특정 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 해당분야 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 특허청구범위 내에서 기재된 범주내에서 변경할 수 있다.
본 발명은 진공상태에서 처리대상물을 가열하여 처리대상물에 묻어있는 난분해성 유기물을 처리하도록 이루어짐으로써, 난분해성 유기물의 완전 제거가 가능하고, 2차 오염물질의 발생도 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 처리대상물에 전압을 인가하여 자체 발열하도록 이루어짐으로써, 난분해성 유기물의 완전 제거가 용이하고 전체적인 가열시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 아울러, PCBs처리장치를 통해 난분해성 유기물에 포함된 PCBs를 처리하도록 이루어짐으로써 환경오염을 예방할 수 있다.

Claims (21)

  1. 장입된 처리 대상물을 진공상태에서 가열하는 진공가열로;
    상기 진공가열로에서 배출되는 유기물 가스를 응축 분리시키는 콘덴서; 및
    상기 콘덴서에서 응축 분리된 난분해성 유기물을 이송받아 유기물에 포함된 PCBs를 처리하는 PCBs 처리장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 처리 대상물에 전압을 인가하는 전압조정기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로에 질소를 공급하는 질소봄베를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  4. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로에 공기를 공급하는 송풍기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  5. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로의 압력은 0.05~100torr인 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로의 가열온도는 150~500℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  7. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로의 외부 표면을 감싸며 내부가 진공 또는 대기압상태로 조정되는 진공자켓을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  8. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 콘덴서와 연결되고 내부에 오일이 충진된 버블러;
    상기 버블러와 연결되고 내측 하부에 오일이 충진되고, 그 상부에 비표면적이 큰 충진재가 설치된 오일 스크러버; 및
    상기 오일 스크러버에 연결되고 내부에 필터가 설치된 액적 제거기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  9. 제 8 항에 있어서,
    상기 버블러에 충진되는 오일은 비중이 0.7~0.9인 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  10. 제 8 항에 있어서,
    상기 오일 스크러버에 충진된 오일의 동점도는 40℃에서 1.5~20cSt인 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  11. 제 8 항에 있어서,
    상기 오일 스크러버에는 오일 스크러버의 하부에 충진된 오일을 오일 스크러버의 상부로 이송시키는 순환펌프가 연결되며, 상기 오일 스크러버의 내측 상부에는 상기 순환펌프에 의해 이송된 오일을 상기 충진재를 향해 분사시키는 노즐이 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  12. 제 11 항에 있어서,
    상기 순환펌프에 의해 순환되는 오일과 가스의 체적비는 1:1,000~1:15,000인 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  13. 제 8 항에 있어서,
    상기 액적 제거기의 필터는 공극이 0.2~50㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리장치.
  14. 처리 대상물을 진공가열로에 장입시키고 진공을 형성하는 단계;
    상기 진공가열로의 내부에 열을 가하여 상기 처리 대상물에 묻어 있는 유기물을 증발시키는 단계;
    증발된 유기물 가스를 콘덴서를 이용하여 응축 분리시키는 단계; 및
    응축 분리된 유기물을 PCBs 처리장치로 이송시켜 PCBs를 처리하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  15. 제 14 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로에 장입된 상기 처리 대상물에 전압을 인가하여 처리 대상물을 자체 발열시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  16. 제 14 항 또는 제 15 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로를 진공으로 형성하는 단계는, 진공가열로를 일차 진공상태로 만든 후, 진공가열로에 질소를 충진하여 가열하고, 진공가열로를 재차 진공상태로 만드는 과정으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  17. 제 16 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로에 질소를 충진하여 가열하는 단계에서, 상기 진공가열로의 압력은 400~760torr로 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  18. 제 14 항 또는 제 15 항에 있어서,
    상기 콘덴서를 통해 응축 분리되지 못한 가스 또는 불순물을 버블러, 오일 스크러버, 액적 제거기에 차례로 통과시키면서 제거하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  19. 제 14 항 또는 제 15 항에 있어서,
    유기물의 증발단계가 완료된 후 상기 진공가열로 내에 질소 또는 공기를 주입하여 상기 진공가열로와 처리 대상물을 냉각시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  20. 제 19 항에 있어서,
    상기 냉각단계에서 발생된 냉각가스를 상기 PCBs 처리장치로 이송시켜 PCBs를 처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
  21. 제 14 항 또는 제 15 항에 있어서,
    상기 진공가열로 자체에서 응축된 유기물을 상기 PCBs 처리장치로 이송시켜 PCBs를 처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 난분해성 유기물 처리방법.
