Abstract

Une extension capillaire (1), du type particulièrement utilisé pour l'épaississement des cheveux, permet une application permanente ou non permanente et comporte un élément de fixation linéaire (2) d'où les cheveux (3) partent perpendiculairement, agencés selon une configuration à plat, caractérisée en ce que l'élément de fixation linéaire (2) est formé par deux rubans (4, 5) adhérant l'un à l'autre de manière à obtenir une bande de fixation, les cheveux étant ancrés entre les deux rubans (4, 5) en raison d'une couche adhésive (6) placée entre eux. Les rubans (4, 5) sont flexibles et constitués d'un matériau thermoplastique; les rubans (4, 5) sont pourvus d'une pluralité de trous traversants sur toute leur surface; au moins un desdits rubans (4, 5) comporte une face exposée pourvue d'une couche adhésive extérieure permanente activée par pression et non permanente (8); et les rubans (4, 5) ont été pressés l'un contre l'autre, de sorte que les cheveux et le matériau adhésif de la couche adhésive (6) pénètrent au moins en partie dans lesdits trous traversants.
