Abstract

Un déchet est traité par pyrolyse à une température 400-700°C et combustion à une température d'au moins 400°C. Les effluents gazeux sont oxydés par voie catalytique pour réduire les émissions. Le déchet en train de brûler est périodiquement agité par des jets d'air à haute pression pour briser le déchet dans la chambre et favoriser une combustion égale et totale. De l'air est introduit pendant la pyrolyse pour favoriser la circulation contrôlée d'effluent gazeux vers le catalyseur et de l'air et/ou de l'eau est utilisée pour déloger les cendres accumulées à la fin du processus de traitement.
