Abstract

회전력을 이용하는 보일러는 회전동력을 발생하는 구동원과 연결되어 회전될 수 있는 회전체(10), 이 회전체를 회전가능하게 수용 및 지지하고 물의 유입구(24)와 유출구(25)를 가지며 그 유입구로부터 유입된 물이 상기 회전체의 주위면과 접촉하면서 축방향으로 이동하여 유출구로 향하는 유로(28)를 형성하는 하우징(20)을 구비한다. 회전체의 주위면에는 법선 또는 접선 방향에 대해 비스듬한 각도에서 드리링한 다수의 오목한 홈(13)이 형성된다. 하우징의 내주면에는 원주방향으로 일정 간격을 두며 축방향으로는 연속한, 경사 또는 나선형의 다수의 오목한 그루우브(29)가 형성된다. 이 보일러에 있어서는 물이 유로를 따라 축방향으로 이동하면서 회전체의 주위면과 접촉하므로 그 마찰거리가 크게 증가하며, 다수의 오목한 홈에 의해 마찰효율을 극대화한다. 또한 다수의 오목한 그루우브는 하우징 내의 물 흐름을 원활하게 할 뿐만 아니라 자흡력으로 물의 흡입과 토출 그리고 외부 순환계에 까지 그 순환을 용이하게 한다.
