Abstract

L'invention porte sur un matériau de treillis fin ondulé, qui est configuré de façon à être disposé au-dessus d'une gouttière. Le matériau de treillis fin comporte un bord supérieur opposé à un bord inférieur, le bord supérieur étant configuré de façon à s'adapter en dessous de bardeaux sur un toit adjacent à la gouttière. Le bord inférieur est configuré de façon à être maintenu sur une lèvre à un bord avant de la gouttière. Les ondulations ajoutent une robustesse au matériau et recueillent de l'eau au niveau d'auges de celles-ci, l'eau recueillie formant plus facilement des gouttelettes qui tombent dans la gouttière. Une bande inférieure est de préférence disposée de façon à supporter le bord inférieur du treillis sur une lèvre de la gouttière. Une bande supérieure est, facultativement, disposée, laquelle comprend une patte qui peut s'adapter en dessous de bardeaux sur le toit. Une barrière telle qu'un cordon de calfatage peut, facultativement, être couplée à une face inférieure du treillis ondulé de façon à encourager encore davantage des gouttelettes d'eau à tomber.
