Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Blockheizkraftwerkes sowie Blockheizkraftwerk selbst, gemäß Oberbegriff der Patentansprüche 1 und 6. Um hierbei zu erreichen, dass der effektive Wirkungsgrad bei der Umwandlung von Wärme in elektrische Energie weiter steigt, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass eine durch Direktfeuerung betriebene Kolbenkraftmaschine (20) direkt oder als Verbrennungskraftmaschine (30) betriebener primärer Energieerzeugungsprozess hierzu mit einem Generator (5) gekoppelt ist, und dass die an der Kolbenkraftmaschine (20) oder an der Verbrennungskraftmaschine (30) anfallende Abwärme durch einen Niedertemperatur-ORC-Kreislauf mit einem Entspannungsmotor (4) umgewandelt wird, welcher mechanisch an denselben, somit gemeinsamen Generator (5) gekoppelt ist.
