Abstract

Dargestellt und beschrieben wird ein Wirbelschichtreaktor (5) zur Herstellung von Pyrolysegas und/oder Synthesegas aus im Wesentlichen festen Brennstoffen, vorzugsweise Biomasse (12a), mit einer elektrischen Heizeinrichtung (29) zum Aufheizen der Wirbelschicht (6) des Wirbelschichtreaktors (5). Um Strom auf einfache Weise zum Beheizen der Wirbelschicht verwenden und gleichzeitig oder abwechselnd mit Sauerstoff heizen zu können, ist vorgesehen, dass die elektrische Heizeinrichtung (29) wenigstens einen Hohlraum (30) und einen an den Hohlraum (30) angrenzenden, porösen Abschnitt (31) aufweist.
