- the face direction detection unit 70 extracts two eyes and a nose or two eyes and a mouth.
- a method for detecting the facial feature point a known method described in the above-mentioned document or the like can be adopted, and the description thereof is omitted.
- Patent Document 1 calculates the angle and direction in which the face is rotated with respect to the horizontal axis in addition to the angle and direction in which the face is rotated with respect to the vertical axis. Although the method of patent document 1 can be used as detection of the direction of interest 20A of this embodiment, a simpler method is demonstrated here.
- FIG. 5 shows the mouth position P1 and the left and right eye positions P2 and P3 as a plurality of facial feature points registered as the initial settings in step 1 of FIG.
- FIG. 5 is an image when the photographer 20 faces the second imaging unit 50 of the imaging device 10. Therefore, in the image of FIG. 5, the direction of interest 20 ⁇ / b> A of the photographer 20 matches or is in parallel with the optical axis 12 ⁇ / b> A of the imaging optical system 32 of the first imaging unit 30.

- the direction of interest 20A detected by the face direction detection unit 70 is centered on the optical axis 12A of the imaging optical system 32 of the first imaging unit 30. It is determined that the direction matches the allowable range. Therefore, even if the three points P1, P2, and P3 in FIG. 5 do not completely match, the determination unit 101 in the control unit 100 determines that it is the photographing timing if they match within a preset allowable range. You may do it.
- the centroids of inverted triangles may be compared. Since the shape of the inverted triangle is different between the time of facing (FIG. 5) and the time of non-facing (FIG. 6), the center of gravity of the inverted triangle is also different between the time of facing and the time of non-facing. Therefore, as another comparison method in Step 4 of FIG. 4, the center of gravity of the inverted triangle and the allowable range thereof at the time of direct facing (FIG. 5) are registered, and the inverted triangle in the image acquired in the shooting mode is registered. It may be compared with the center of gravity position.
- the height and length of the inverted triangle may be compared.
- the area S of the inverted triangle at the time of facing (FIG. 5) is the maximum
- the height H and the length L of the inverted triangle are also the maximum.
- the face is deviated from the time of facing, the inverted triangle is distorted as shown in FIG. 6, so that at least one of the height H and the length L of the inverted triangle is shorter than that of the facing time.
- L ′ ⁇ L and the height H does not change.
- the height H 'of the inverted triangle at that time becomes shorter than the height H at the time of facing. If the face rotates with respect to both the vertical axis and the horizontal axis, both the height H 'and the length L' of the inverted triangle at that time are shorter than those at the front. Therefore, as a comparison method in Step 4 of FIG. 4, the height H and the length L of the inverted triangle at the time of facing in the initial setting mode are calculated, and the shorter height H1 and length L1 are registered. In addition, the height H2 and the length L2 of the inverted triangle extracted from the image acquired in the shooting mode may be compared. If H1 ⁇ H2 and L ⁇ L2, the determination in step 4 in FIG. 4 is YES, and if H2 ⁇ H1 or L2 ⁇ L1, the determination in step 4 in FIG. 4 is NO.
- the second imaging unit is used by using the tilt information of the imaging device 10 detected by the posture detection unit 90 of FIG.
- the frame of the image acquired at 50 can be corrected. In this way, even when the imaging device 10 is tilted at the time of image acquisition, it can be corrected to a state in which an image is always acquired in a fixed posture.
- the initial setting (step 1) in FIG. 4 is not limited to being performed every time the power is turned on, and may be performed by switching to the initial setting mode by the photographer 20 operation. At this time, when the photographer 20 shares one imaging device 10, it is possible to make initial settings for a plurality of photographers 20. When the power is turned on, for example, a preset priority photographer may be used, and the registered photographer 20 may be selected.
- one or a plurality of threshold values can be set in the mismatch range for the area, center of gravity, height, and length of the inverted triangle described above. .
- the direction of interest 20A detected by the detection unit 14 is an allowable range centered on the optical axis 12A of the imaging optical system 32 of the first imaging unit 30.
- the shutter operation is automatically performed at the timing coincident with the direction of the image, and the image of the subject 22 is captured by the image sensor 34 of FIG. For this reason, it is not necessary for the photographer 20 to operate the shutter button, but it is convenient in use if the photographer 20 can be notified of the photographing timing and whether the photographing timing is near or far.
- coincidence detection can be performed by comparing the area of the inverted triangle, comparing the center of gravity of the inverted triangle, comparing the height of the inverted triangle, and the like, but it is also possible to detect other degrees in the comparison process. In order to detect any other degree, it is only necessary to set a plurality of threshold levels as comparison information.
- the notification unit 140 of FIG. 3 changes the electronic sound, for example, according to the degree of coincidence / inconsistency or the like under the control of the control unit 100.
- the notifying unit 140 intermittently outputs an electronic sound with a long interval such as “beep ... ......”, and shortens the interval as the degree of disagreement becomes smaller. For example, a continuous sound is used.
- the notification unit 140 can output a shutter sound when the imaging operation is performed. As a result, the photographer 20 can feel the photographing timing and the fact that the photographing has been performed.
- the method of notifying the photographer 20 is not limited to changing the interval of electronic sounds, in addition to notifying by changes in sound such as volume, pitch, timbre, tone, etc., and various outputs such as display by lighting or flashing It can be selected from the forms.
- the angle of view is uniquely determined by the focal length.
- the angle of view and the focal length are adjusted based on the distance (face distance) from the imaging device 10 to the face of the photographer 20.
- the face distance detection unit 80 shown in FIG. 3 detects the distance (face distance) from the imaging device 10 to the face of the photographer 20 based on the image of the photographer 20 acquired by the second imaging unit 50.
- Yes. 7 and 8 show the principle of distance detection based on a plurality of images shot under the same shooting conditions.
- the face of the photographer 20 is imaged in a state of being close to the second imaging unit 50 at a distance A1
- the face occupied in the frame is large, and for example, the position P2 of the second eye in the face , P3 has a longer distance L.
- FIG. 7 shows the principle of distance detection based on a plurality of images shot under the same shooting conditions.
- the face distance detection unit 80 is not limited to using the image of the photographer 20, and may measure the distance using infrared rays or the like.
- the face distance A detected by the face distance detection unit 80 is input to the first imaging control unit 40 via the control unit 100, and the angle of view ⁇ of the first imaging unit 30 based on the face distance A. (Focal distance f: not shown) is adjusted by the first imaging control unit 40. As shown in FIG. 9, when the face distance A1 is short, the angle of view ⁇ 1 is increased and the focal length f1 (not shown) is increased. Description
