Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung warmgewalzter Hohlprofile (1) aus Stahl mit rechteckigem oder quadratischem Querschnitt, wobei zunächst ein im Wesentlichen rundes durch Warmwalzen nahtlos hergestelltes oder kaltgefertigtes geschweißtes Vorrohr mit einem definierten Nennaußendurchmesser (D) erzeugt, anschließend bei Umformtemperatur zu einem Hohlprofil (1) mit dem geforderten Querschnitt umgeformt wird und die Sichtkanten (C1 und C2) der Hohlprofile (1) einen Wert von < 1,5 x t (t = Wanddicke) aufweisen. Dabei weist für einen vorgegebenen Profilquerschnitt das in das Profilwalzwerk einzuführende Vorrohr einen Nennaußendurchmesser (D) auf, der aus einem zu erreichenden Reduktionsgrad des Vorrohres und den zu erreichenden Hohlprofilabmessungen ermittelt wird, wobei der Reduktionsgrad in einem Bereich von -2 % bis -13 % liegt und gemäß nachfolgender Formel ermittelt wird: Reduktionsgrad R [%] = [(2 x (H + B)) - π x D] x 100% [2 x (H +B)]; wobei D dem Nennaußendurchmesser des Vorrohres und H5B die Kantenlängen des Hohlprofils (Höhe, Breite) entsprechen.
