一种终止定位进程的方法, 包括:

一种终止定位进程的装置, 包括:
接收单元, 用于接收终止对用户终端定位的请求; 以及
发送单元, 用于在接收到所述终止对用户终端定位的请求后向执行定 位的网元发送终止定位进程指令。
优选地, 所述终止对用户终端定位的请求由所述用户终端、 当前为所 述用户终端服务的基站或移动性管理实体 MME发送给所述 SMLC。
优选地, 所述终止对用户终端定位的请求包括: 位置服务终止请求或 定位进程终止请求。
优选地, 所述终止定位进程指令为独立消息, 或承载于现有发送至所 述执行定位的网元的消息中通知给所述执行定位的网元; 所述位置服务终 止请求或定位进程终止请求为独立消息, 或承载于现有发送至所述 SMLC 的消息中通知给所述 SMLC。
优选地, 承载所述终止定位进程指令的现有消息包括请求位置信息消 息; 承载所述位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求的现有消息包括提供 位置信息消息。
优选地, 所述执行定位的网元包括所述用户终端或当前为所述用户终 端服务的基站。
本发明中, 当 UE或基站确定不必再进行定位服务时,将向网络侧发送 终止对 UE定位进程的请求,网络侧根据请求向当前执行定位的网元发送终 止定位进程指令,使当前执行定位的网元终止对 UE的定位进程。从而使本 发明支持提前终止 UE的定位测量,避免了 UE不必要的测量而导致的电量 损耗。 附图说明

本发明的基本思想是: 当 UE或基站确定不必再进行定位服务时,将向 网络侧发送终止对 UE定位进程的请求,网络侧根据请求向当前执行定位的 网元发送终止定位进程指令, 使当前执行定位的网元终止对 UE 的定位进 程。 从而使本发明支持提前终止 UE的定位测量, 避免了 UE不必要的测量 而导致的电量损耗。
为使本发明的目的、 技术方案和优点更加清楚明白, 以下举实施例并 参照附图, 对本发明进一步详细说明。 实施例一:
图 3为本发明实施例一的终止定位进程的方法的流程图, 如图 3所示, 本示例终止定位进程的方法包括以下步骤:
步骤 301 : UE当前的服务网络提供定位业务, UE用户可以通过发送 位置服务请求给移动性管理实体 ( MME, Mobility Management Entity )请 求网络对 UE进行定位。
步骤 302: MME接收到 UE的位置服务请求后, 将该位置服务请求发 送给 SMLC。
步骤 303: SMLC发送定位能力请求给 UE, 请求获得与 UE支持的定 位方法相关的能力信息。
步骤 304: UE在接收到定位能力请求后, 将自己的定位能力反馈给 SMLC。
步骤 305: SMLC根据 UE的所支持的定位能力, 选择 UE支持的定位 方法, 并配置该定位方法需要的辅助数据, 连同 "请求位置信息" 消息发 送给 UE, 并指示 UE周期性上报测量结果。
步骤 306: UE根据 SMLC发送的请求位置信息消息和辅助数据进行定 位测量, 并通过 "提供位置信息" 消息周期性地反馈定位结果。 反馈的定 位结果可以是所测量的卫星信号、 基站信号到达时间差、 基站下行信号、 计算的 UE位置信息中的至少一项。
步骤 307: SMLC如果接收到 UE反馈的卫星信号或基站信号到达时间 差或基站下行信号, 则根据反馈的信息计算 UE的位置信息。
步骤 308: SMLC将 UE的位置信息反馈给 MME。
步骤 309: MME将 UE的位置信息反馈给 UE。
步骤 310: UE用户认为已经获得足够的位置信息, 不需要继续获得位 置信息, 则发送位置服务终止请求给 MME。 该位置服务终止请求是一个新 的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的请求标识。
步骤 311 : MME将位置服务终止请求发送给 SMLC。
步骤 312: SMLC发送定位进程终止指令给 UE。 这里, 定位进程终止 指令是一个新的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的指示标识。
步骤 313: UE接收到定位进程终止指令后,停止正在进行的定位操作, 并上报当前的定位结果, 或仅停止正在进行的定位操作。
实施例二
图 4为本发明实施例二的终止定位进程的方法的流程图, 如图 4所示, 本示例终止定位进程的方法包括以下步骤:
步骤 401 : UE 当前的服务网络提供定位业务, UE用户可以通过发送 位置服务请求给移动性管理实体 MME请求网络对 UE进行定位。
步骤 402: MME接收到 UE的位置服务请求后, 将该位置服务请求发 送给网络定位实体 SMLC。
步骤 403: SMLC发送定位能力请求给 UE, 请求获得与 UE支持的定 位方法相关的能力信息。
步骤 404: UE在接收到定位能力请求后, 将自己的定位能力反馈给 SMLC。
步骤 405: SMLC根据 UE的所支持的定位能力, 选择 UE支持的定位 方法, 并配置该定位方法需要的辅助数据, 连同 "请求位置信息" 消息发 送给 UE, 并指示 UE周期性上报测量结果。
步骤 406: UE根据 SMLC发送的请求位置信息消息和辅助数据进行定 位测量, 并通过 "提供位置信息" 消息周期性的反馈定位结果。 反馈的定 位结果可以是所测量的卫星信号、 基站信号到达时间差、 基站下行信号、 计算的 UE位置信息中的至少一项。
步骤 407: SMLC如果接收到 UE反馈的卫星信号或基站信号到达时间 差或基站下行信号, 则根据反馈的信息计算 UE的位置信息。
步骤 408: SMLC将 UE的位置信息反馈给 MME。
步骤 409: MME将 UE的位置信息反馈给 UE。
步骤 410: UE用户认为已经获得足够的位置信息, 不需要继续获得位 置信息, 则发送定位进程终止请求给 SMLC。 该定位进程终止请求是一个 新的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的请求标识。
步骤 411 : SMLC发送定位进程终止指令给 UE。 这里, 定位进程终止 指令是一个新的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的指示标识。
步骤 412: UE接收到定位进程终止指令后,停止正在进行的定位操作,, 并上报当前的定位结果, 或仅停止正在进行的定位操作。
实施例三
图 5为本发明实施例三的终止定位进程的方法的流程图, 如图 5所示, 本示例终止定位进程的方法包括以下步骤:
步骤 501 : UE 当前的服务网络提供定位业务, UE用户可以通过发送 位置服务请求给移动性管理实体 MME请求网络对 UE进行定位。
步骤 502: MME接收到 UE的位置服务请求后, 将该位置服务请求发 送给网络定位实体 SMLC。
步骤 503: SMLC选择定位方法 E-CID (增强的小区标识方法), 发送 "请求位置信息" 消息给基站, 并指示基站周期性上报测量结果。
步骤 504: 基站根据 SMLC发送的请求位置信息消息进行定位测量, 并通过 "提供位置信息" 消息周期性的反馈定位结果。 反馈的定位结果可 以是所测量的 UE的定时提前、信号到达角度、 UE上行信号中的至少一项。
步骤 505: SMLC接收到基站反馈的测量结果后, 则根据反馈的信息计 算 UE的位置信息。
步骤 506: SMLC将 UE的位置信息反馈给 MME。 步骤 507: MME将 UE的位置信息反馈给 UE。
步骤 508: UE用户认为已经获得足够的位置信息, 不需要继续获得位 置信息, 则发送位置服务终止请求给 MME。 该位置服务终止请求是一个新 的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的请求标识。
步骤 509: MME将位置服务终止请求发送给 SMLC。
步骤 510: SMLC发送定位进程终止指令给基站。 这里, 定位进程终止 指令是一个新的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的指示标识。
步骤 511 :基站接收到定位进程终止指令后,停止正在进行的定位操作, 并上报当前的定位结果, 或仅停止正在进行的定位操作。
实施例四:
图 6为本发明实施例四的终止定位进程的方法的流程图, 如图 6所示, 本示例终止定位进程的方法包括以下步骤:
步骤 601 :基站可以通过发送位置服务请求给移动性管理实体 MME请 求网络对指定 UE进行定位。
步骤 602: MME接收到基站的位置服务请求后, 将该位置服务请求发 送给网络定位实体 SMLC。
步骤 603: SMLC选择定位方法 E-CID (增强的小区标识方法), 发送 "请求位置信息" 消息给基站, 并指示基站周期性上报测量结果。
步骤 604: 基站根据 SMLC发送的请求位置信息消息进行定位测量, 并通过 "提供位置信息" 消息周期性地反馈定位结果。 反馈的定位结果可 以是所测量的 UE的定时提前、信号到达角度、 UE上行信号中的至少一项。
步骤 605: SMLC接收到基站反馈的测量结果后, 则根据反馈的信息计 算 UE的位置信息。
步骤 606: SMLC将 UE的位置信息反馈给 MME。
步骤 607: MME将 UE的位置信息反馈给基站。 步骤 608: 基站认为已经获得足够的位置信息, 不需要继续获得位置信 息, 则发送定位进程终止请求给 SMLC。 该定位进程终止请求是一个新的 独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的请求标识。
步骤 609: SMLC发送定位进程终止指令给基站。 这里, 定位进程终止 指令是一个新的独立的消息体, 承载有定位进程终止的指示标识。
步骤 610:基站接收到定位进程终止指令后,停止正在进行的定位操作, 并上报当前的定位结果, 或仅停止正在进行的定位操作。
上述实施例一至实施例四对定位进程的终止是釆用了现有技术中没有 的新的信令, 本发明同样支持釆用现有技术中已有信令而实现本发明技术 方案, 在已有信令中设置信息元来标识定位进程终止和定位进程指示。 具 体对应如下: SMLC指示 UE或基站终止定位进程的信令可以包含在 SMLC 发送给 UE或基站的已有信令 "请求位置信息" 消息中。 UE或基站请求终 止定位进程的信令可以包含在 UE或基站发送给 SMLC的已有信令 "提供 位置信息" 消息中。 可以在 "请求位置信息" 消息和 "提供位置信息" 消 息中各增加一个信息元, 用来分别承载指示定位进程终止的信令和终止 UE 的定位进程请求。
图 7为本发明终止定位进程的装置的组成结构示意图, 如图 7所示, 本发明终止定位进程的装置包括接收单元 70和发送单元 71 , 其中,接收单 元 70用于接收终止对用户终端定位的请求; 发送单元 71用于在接收到所 述终止对用户终端定位的请求后向执行定位的网元发送终止定位进程指 令, 使所述执行定位的网元终止当前对所述用户终端的定位进程。 所述终 止对用户终端定位的请求由所述用户终端、 当前为所述用户终端服务的基 站或移动性管理实体 MME发送给所述 SMLC。所述终止对用户终端定位的 请求包括: 位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求。 所述终止定位进程指 令为独立消息, 或承载于现有发送至所述执行定位的网元的消息中通知给 所述执行定位的网元; 所述位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求为独立 消息, 或承载于现有发送至所述 SMLC的消息中通知给所述 SMLC。 承载 所述终止定位进程指令的现有消息包括请求位置信息消息; 承载所述位置 服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求的现有消息包括提供位置信息消息。 所 述执行定位的网元包括所述用户终端或当前为所述用户终端服务的基站。
本领域技术人员应当理解, 图 7所示的终止定位进程的装置是为实现 前述的终止定位进程的方法而设置的, 图 7 所示的装置中各处理单元可参 照前述实施例一至实施例四的相关描述而理解, 其功能可通过运行于处理 器上的程序而实现, 也可通过具体的逻辑电路而实现。
以上所述, 仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已, 并非用于限定本发明的保 护范围。

Claims

权利要求书
1、 一种终止定位进程的方法, 其特征在于, 包括:
服务移动定位中心 SMLC接收到终止对用户终端定位的请求后, 向执 行定位的网元发送终止定位进程指令。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述终止对用户终端定 位的请求由所述用户终端、 或当前为所述用户终端服务的基站、 或移动性 管理实体 MME发送给所述 SMLC。
3、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述终止对用户终端定 位的请求包括: 位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求。
4、 根据权利要求 3所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述终止定位进程指令 为独立消息, 或承载于现有发送至所述执行定位的网元的消息中通知给所 述执行定位的网元;
所述位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求为独立消息, 或承载于现 有发送至所述 SMLC的消息中通知给所述 SMLC。
5、 根据权利要求 4所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述承载所述终止定位 进程指令的现有消息包括请求位置信息消息;
所述承载所述位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求的现有消息包括 提供位置信息消息。
6、 根据权利要求 1至 5任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述执行定 位的网元包括所述用户终端或当前为所述用户终端服务的基站。
7、一种终止定位进程的装置,其特征在于, 包括接收单元和发送单元, 其中:
接收单元, 用于接收终止对用户终端定位的请求;
发送单元, 用于在接收到所述终止对用户终端定位的请求后向执行定 位的网元发送终止定位进程指令。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述接收单元接收到的 终止对用户终端定位的请求由所述用户终端、 或当前为所述用户终端服务 的基站、 或移动性管理实体 MME发送。
9、 根据权利要求 7所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述终止对用户终端定 位的请求包括: 位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求。
10、 根据权利要求 9所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述终止定位进程指 令为独立消息, 或承载于现有发送至所述执行定位的网元的消息中通知给 所述执行定位的网元;
所述位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求为独立消息, 或承载于现 有发送至所述 SMLC的消息中通知给所述 SMLC。
11、 根据权利要求 10所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述承载所述终止定 位进程指令的现有消息包括请求位置信息消息;
所述承载所述位置服务终止请求或定位进程终止请求的现有消息包括 提供位置信息消息。
12、 根据权利要求 7至 11任一项所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述执行 定位的网元包括所述用户终端或当前为所述用户终端服务的基站。
