Abstract

Selon l'invention, une station de base forme une partie d'un groupe de stations de base dans un réseau de communication cellulaire, et sélectionne un code d'identification destiné à être utilisé dans l'identification de transmissions provenant de la station de base. La station de base reçoit d'un nœud de gestion une première liste de codes d'identification et une seconde liste de codes d'identification, les codes d'identification de la première liste pouvant apparaître dans des listes de cellules voisines des stations de base en dehors dudit groupe, et les codes d'identification de la seconde liste ne pouvant pas apparaître dans des listes de cellules voisines des stations de base en dehors dudit groupe. La station de base détermine s'il existe au moins un code d'identification soit dans la première liste de codes d'identification, soit dans la seconde liste de codes d'identification qui n'est utilisé par aucune autre station de base dans ledit groupe. S'il existe au moins un code d'identification dans la première liste de codes d'identification et au moins un code d'identification dans la seconde liste de codes d'identifications qui ne sont utilisés par aucune autre station de base dans ledit groupe, un code d'identification de la première liste de codes d'identification est sélectionné de préférence à un code d'identification de la seconde liste de codes d'identification.
