Abstract

Disclosed is a weight training device which is provided with springs for exercise loads to easily adjust exercise loads by means of a simple configuration. The training device comprises: a main body; an operating rod; a fixed rod provided with a compression coil spring to generate a basic motion load; a plurality of movable rods provided with compression coil springs to generate additional exercise loads in accordance with the operation of the operating rod when connected to the operating rod; and an operating unit which controls the connection or separation of the movable rods, and which adjusts the number of the connected movable rods to adjust the total volume of the additional exercise loads. The operating unit includes a movable selection plate which moves by means of a lever or handle, and a connection piece which moves toward the movable rods or moves backward from the movable roads in accordance with the movement of the movable selection plate, in order to enable the movable rods to be connected or separated. The movable selection plate has connection protrusions with different lengths and grooves for adjusting the variable exercise loads.
