Abstract

본 발명은 저전력 터보복호기의 조기정지 시스템 및 방법으로서, 터보복호기의 구성복호기들에서 출력되는 정보비트의 경판정 출력값을 비교하여 터보복호기의 반복복호의 완료여부를 판단한 후, 정보비트들의 복호가 완료되어 더 이상의 반복복호가 필요하지 않다고 판단될 경우에 반복복호과정을 조기에 정지시킴으로써, 터보복호기의 평균적인 반복복호 횟수 및 복호지연을 줄여 전력소모량을 감소시킴과 동시에 비트오류율(BER: Bit Error Rate)을 향상시킬 수 있다.
