Abstract

본 발명은 무게가 가볍고 손에 잡기 편하며 정밀한 성능을 가진 3차원 초음파 스캐너를 제공하기 위한 방안으로서, 모터를 트랜스듀서 유닛의 스윙 축에 수직 방향으로 배치하면서 작은 용량의 모터로 동작할 수 있고 백래쉬가 발생하지 않는 새로운 구조의 스윙 메커니즘을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 본 발명에 의한 스윙 메커니즘은 모터의 회전축에 연결된 암 홀더와, 암 홀더에 연결되어 모터의 회전축을 중심으로 일정한 각도 범위에서 왕복 회전하는 암과, 암에 부착되어 암과 함께 이동하는 링크와, 링크에 연결되어 암의 회전력을 트랜스듀서 유닛에 전달하는 샤프트를 포함한다. 이러한 구조의 스윙 메커니즘은 작은 용량의 모터를 사용하더라도 동작 가능하고 풀리나 기어 또는 벨트를 사용하지 않아 백래쉬가 없기 때문에 무게가 가볍고 정밀한 성능을 나타내는 3차원 초음파 스캐너를 구현할 수 있다.
