  • the method of dispensing liquid from the container involves hand gripping around the elongate body 4. Pressure is applied with a thumb of the hand against depression 15 in an upward manner to dislodge plug 52 from aperture 56 by upper pivotal movement of cap 14. Liquid is dispensed from container 2 through aperture 56 by tilting the container in a direction that fluid flows towards first area 46 with its pointed shape. This shape ensures directed delivery onto a receiving area such as an open palm of the pouring person's other hand. The orientation of first area 46 away from either panels 13, 17 or 19a/19b prevents any liquid from the pouring point falling onto any of these panels thereby avoiding soiling of package walls.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un récipient (2) destiné à verser un liquide et comprenant un corps allongé (4) servant à contenir le liquide et une fermeture (10). La fermeture (10) comporte un accessoire (12) et un bouchon (14) fixé de façon pivotante à l'accessoire (12). L'accessoire (12) présente une extrémité supérieure (16) dotée d'un plateau elliptique (18) présentant une extrémité pointue en angle à sa partie supérieure extrême et entouré par une jupe (28) comprenant des régions supérieure (30), inférieure (32) et latérale (34), le plateau (18) comportant une ouverture (24) de distribution, un axe longitudinal (26) traversant le plateau (18) et ledit plateau (18) étant incliné à un angle de 5 à 70 degrés par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (26), une charnière (36) reliée à la région latérale (34) de façon décentrée par rapport à celle-ci et pouvant pivoter le long d'une ligne (38) d'articulation orthogonale par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (26) et non parallèle à un plan du plateau.
