Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Getter (1), umfassend ein Gettergehäuse (2) und zumindest ein pulverförmiges Gettermaterial (3), das im Gettergehäuse (2) eingeschlossen ist, wobei das Gettergehäuse (2) zumindest teilweise gasdurchlässig ist, sodass auβerhalb des Gettergehäuses (2) befindliches Gas mit dem Gettermaterial (3) in Kontakt treten kann. Um einen Getter (1 ) bereitzustellen, der leistungsfähig ist, ohne dass im Einsatz eine groβe Gefahr eines Austritts von Gettermaterial (3) aus dem Getter (1) gegeben ist, ist erfindungsgemäβ vorgesehen, dass das Gettergehäuse (2) ein Rohr (4) umfasst, das bereichsweise zumindest ein Gitter aufweist, durch welches das Gettermaterial (3) im Rohr (4) gehalten ist.
