Abstract

Un dispositif photovoltaïque comprend au moins une cellule photovoltaïque (60) comprenant des couches minces actives (15) déposées sur un substrat (10), lesdites couches actives n'étant pas segmentées, et au moins un convertisseur statique (50) associé à chaque cellule photovoltaïque (60). Chaque cellule photovoltaïque (60) fournit une puissance électrique avec un courant maximal (Icc) et une tension nominale (Vp), et chaque convertisseur statique (50) est adapté à transmettre la puissance électrique fournie par la cellule photovoltaïque vers une charge (100) en diminuant le courant transmis et en augmentant la tension transmise. Sur un même panneau, les segmentations au laser des cellules photovoltaïques sont ainsi limitées voire totalement supprimées. Le rendement de fabrication du dispositif photovoltaïque est ainsi amélioré et les surfaces mortes sont limitées.
