Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur räumlichen Darstellung einer Szene auf einem Raster aus Bildelementen, basierend auf mehreren Ansichten, die entsprechend einer Kombinationsvorschrift zu einem Kombinationsbild zusammengesetzt werden. Das Kombinationsbild enthält von jeder Ansicht nur ausgewählte Teile bzw. Pixel. Dazu werden Ausbreitungsrichtungen vorgegeben, die es ermöglichen, daß ein Betrachter im Kombinationsbild mit dem linken Auge eine andere Auswahl von Ansichten wahrnimmt als mit dem rechten Auge, was zu einem räumlichen Seheindruck führt. Ausgehend von einer Ursprungsansicht, bei der jedes Pixel Färb- und Tiefeninformationen enthält, werden die übrigen Ansichten generiert, wobei ausschließlich Farbinformationen bestimmt werden, die zu Bildelementen der Ansichten gehören, die im Kombinationsbild dargestellt werden. Die Bestimmung der Farbinformationen erfolgt mit Hilfe einer Reliefkarte Z(χ,y).
