Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for the production of
- Thin-film solar cell modules as is known generically from US Pat. No. 6,559,411 B 2.
- the first type comprises a stationarily mounted laser head above a
- the second type comprises a laser head movable in an axial direction and a single axis table movable in an axial direction perpendicular thereto.
- a substrate coated on one side is transported in a direction of movement relative to a laser source which directs a pulsed laser beam onto the uncoated surface of the substrate via a mirror system controlled by a galvanometer in the x-, y- and z-directions.
- the laser beam transmits through the glass substrate and produces an overlapping removal in the coating.
- the device comprises a transport and holding device with a loading end, a central scoring module and a discharge end.
- the coated glass substrate is placed in vertical alignment on a loader wagon at the end of loading, transported to the scribe module, taken over there by a conveyor belt, scribed and then transferred to a unloading vehicle and transported to the unloading end.
- the apparatus further comprises a scoring device having a laser source providing a pulsed laser beam which, via the galvanometer-controlled mirror system, rests on the uncoated side of a scoring module Glass substrate is addressed.
- the mirror system includes a focusing device that horizontally moves a lens to control the focal length of the laser beam in the z-direction, and a tiltable mirror assembly to deflect the beam in the x-y direction over a predetermined deflection range.
- the scribing takes place by overlapping the laser beam along adjacent adjacent surfaces along a line.
- the surfaces are each determined by the dimension and the geometry of the cross section of the laser beam in the place of impact. With an overlap of 50% basically a uniform scratch width with high scratch speed should be achieved.
- the laser beam should have a wavelength in the near infrared range, have a pulse frequency between 50 and 100 kHz and a pulse duration in the range of 8 to 70 ns.
- the apparatus includes pressure and vacuum positioners to keep the glass substrate planar, as well as detectors which detect the exact position of the glass substrate and communicate with the focusing means to focus the laser over the entire deflection range in the or Position the layers to be removed.
- the laser scribing can be done in two different ways.
- Feed rate are moved and the laser beam is deflected vertically and in the transport direction at a speed matched to the transport speed, so that in turn a scribe line is perpendicular to the transport direction. After the generation of a scribe line, a reset movement takes place.
- the energy of the laser beam is adjusted accordingly or lasers are used with a different energy level.
- a disadvantage of the device described here is that the mirror system must be fixed at half the height of the module width above the transport plane to get from the system axis with a same deflection angle up and down a scanning, the thin-film solar cell module over the Module width covers. If thin-film solar cell modules of different module widths are to be processed with only one laser beam and according to a mirror system, the position of the mirror system must be changed in height with respect to the transport plane. A required for the positioning of the mirror system holder requires high rigidity and precise guidance for height adjustment to control the mirror system regardless of the height position with the same accuracy with respect to the thin-film solar cell module.
- the invention has for its object to find a simplified device for introducing scribe lines by means of laser in thin-film solar cell modules of different dimensions.

- the device comprises a device known from the prior art according to US 6,559,411 B2 a holding and transporting device 1, which is designed to hold a thin film solar cell module 2 and along a horizontal transport plane in a transport direction T to transport, as well as at least one laser beam source 3 with an associated galvanometer-controlled mirror system 4 with a system axis 5, which is arranged to the holding and transport device 1, that a coming from the laser beam source 3 and coupled into the mirror system 4 laser beam to the System axis 5 one or two-dimensional deflected, the mirror system 4 facing surface of the held in the holding and transport device 1 thin-film solar cell module 2 can scan.
- the thin-film solar cell module 2 to be processed can have one in its
- Be layer structure and its structuring already finished module in which by means of the device scribe lines are introduced, which represent a sequence of blind holes, whereby a predetermined degree of transparency can be adjusted depending on the number, distribution and size of the blind holes.
- the thin-film solar cell module 2 can also be an unfinished module in its layer structure and its structuring, in which scribe lines are introduced by means of the device, which represent slot-shaped structuring lines.
- the thin-film solar cell module 2 which consists of a transparent substrate layer which is coated on one side with a layer sequence, of which at least the outermost layer is not transparent to light, the mirror system 4 either with its coated surface, but preferably with its uncoated surface facing, held in the holding and transporting device 1 and transported.
- the expansions of the basically rectangular thin-film solar cell module 2 should be referred to as module length a and module width b, the edges of the thin-film solar cell module 2 extending in the transport direction T representing longitudinal edges.
- the change in the path length of the laser beam between the mirror system 4 and the impingement point on the thin film solar cell module 2 becomes larger, therefore, particularly, when the deflection range is from .gamma. + max to .gamma. max is large, the laser focus is readjusted, so that the laser beam is always focused in a same plane in the thin-film solar cell module 2.
- This lagennachreglung is usually realized via the displacement of a lens associated with the galvanometer-controlled mirror system 4, if one speaks of an x-y-z-controlled mirror system 4.
- a mirror system 4 thus enables a controlled beam deflection in two mutually perpendicular directions, namely in the horizontal direction over the module length a (x-direction) and in the vertical direction over the module width b (y-direction), as well as a focus tracking (in the z-direction ).
- the use of such a x-y-z-controlled mirror system 4 is advantageous because it allows large deflection angle and thus large deflection ranges. It is known that the accuracy of the beam deflection decreases with larger deflection angles and working distances, but for the advantageous use of the device to provide a given transparency compared to the use of the device for structuring the thin film solar cell modules, also called scratches, without affecting the quality of the Processing result is.
- the scanning range on the thin film solar cell module 2 by the maximum Deflection angle Y 1112x of the mirror system 4 and the distance of the mirror system 4 to the thin-film solar cell module 2 is determined, it can be increased by increasing the distance.
- the distance should be greater than 1.5 m, so that the scanning covers the thin-film solar cell module 2 over its entire module width b.
- Thin-film solar cell module 2 is horizontal in the holding and transport device 1. If one were to arrange the mirror system 4 below the thin-film solar cell module 2, the transport plane would have to run above an ergonomically favorable working height for the operator. Likewise, an assembly of the mirror system 4 above the transport plane would be useless for structuring through the glass, since the substrate would then have to be transported lying on the layer side.
- the mirror system must be fixed at half the height of the module width above the transport plane to get from the system axis with a same deflection angle ⁇ up and down a scanning range covering the thin film solar cell module across the module width.
- the mirror system 4 advantageously in the transport plane or in a plane close thereto and to leave it there also for the processing of different module widths b.
- the device is optimized to a tilt angle ⁇ of 45 °, so that an adaptation to thin-film solar cell modules 2 of slight deviation in the module width b for both reductions and enlargements with otherwise barely changing parameters such as the distance is possible.
- Fig. Ic three different angular positions are shown for the system axis 5, depending on different module widths b (here with bi, b 2 and b 3 denotes).
- the tilt angle ⁇ (here with ⁇ i, ⁇ 2 and ⁇ 3 ) is smaller for increasing module widths b.
- the holding and transporting device 1 for adaptation different module widths b means with which the
- Thin-film solar cell module 2 with respect to the transport plane tilted by a tilt angle ⁇ and can be fixed in different tilting positions.
- the mirror system 4 is also tiltable.
- the vertical maximum deflection angle ⁇ max is advantageously selected for different module widths b as a function of the distance to the thin film solar cell module 2 such that the scanning region has a length in the vertical direction equal to the module width b.
- the holding and transporting device 1 is therefore designed so that the
- Thin-film solar cell module 2 transported horizontally transported in a transport direction T and can be kept tilted relative to a vertical vertical plane to a variable tilt angle ⁇ .

Beschreibung
