Abstract

 複数のアノードと、前記複数のアノードと対となる複数のカソードと、前記複数のアノードと前記複数のカソードとに挟持された電解質膜とからなる膜電極接合体と、前記膜電極接合体を挟持する集電体と、前記膜電極接合体の前記複数のアノード側に配置され、前記複数のアノードに燃料を供給するための燃料供給機構と、前記膜電極接合体の前記複数のカソード側に配置される保湿層とを備え、前記集電体は、前記複数のカソード間の領域と対向して配置されたスリットを有している燃料電池。

Description

燃料電池
 本発明は、燃料電池に関し、特に液体燃料を用いる燃料電池に関する。
 近年、ノートパソコンや携帯電話等の各種携帯用電子機器を長時間充電しないで使用可能とするために、これら携帯用電子機器の電源に燃料電池を用いる試みがなされている。燃料電池は燃料と空気とを供給するだけで発電することができ、燃料を補給すれば連続して長時間発電することが可能であるという特徴を有している。このため、燃料電池を小型化できれば、携帯用電子機器の電源として極めて有利なシステムといえる。
 直接メタノール型燃料電池(Direct Methanol Fuel Cell:DMFC)は小型化が可能であり、さらに燃料の取り扱いも容易であるため、携帯用電子機器の電源として期待されている。
 DMFCにおける液体燃料の供給方式としては、気体供給型や液体供給型等のアクティブ方式、また燃料収容部内の液体燃料を電池内部で気化させて燃料極に供給する内部気化型等のパッシブ方式が知られている。
 アノード(燃料極)に燃料を供給する手段としては、さまざまな方法が採用可能である。例えば、メタノール水溶液等の液体燃料を、アノード導電層の下に直接流通させる方式や、燃料電池の外部で、メタノール等を蒸発させて気体燃料を生じ、その気体燃料をアノード導電層の下に流通させる外部気化型、燃料収容部に純メタノールやメタノール水溶液等の液体燃料を収容し、液体燃料を電池内部で気化させてアノードに供給する内部気化型等が考えられる。
 また、カソード(空気極)に酸化剤である空気を供給する手段としては、空気をファンやブロワにより強制的に供給するアクティブ型や、大気からの自然拡散のみにより供給する自発呼吸(パッシブ)型などが考えられる。
 これらのうち、内部気化型等のパッシブ方式はDMFCの小型化に対して特に有利である。パッシブ型DMFCにおいては、例えば燃料極、電解質膜および空気極を有する膜電極接合体(燃料電池セル)を、樹脂製の箱状容器からなる燃料収容部上に配置した構造が提案されている(例えば国際公開第2005/112172号パンフレット参照)。膜電極接合体は、燃料極側に配置されるアノード導電層と、空気極側に配置されるカソード導電層とに挟持されている。
 燃料収容部から流路を介して燃料供給部に供給された液体燃料は、液体燃料のまま、もしくは液体燃料と液体燃料が気化した気化燃料が混在する状態で、燃料分配層およびアノード導電層を介して燃料電池セルのアノードガス拡散層に供給される。アノードガス拡散層に供給された燃料は、アノードガス拡散層で拡散してアノード触媒層に供給される。液体燃料としてメタノール燃料を用いた場合、アノード触媒層で次の式(1)に示すメタノールの内部改質反応が生じる。

 なお、メタノール燃料として純メタノールを使用した場合には、メタノールは、カソード触媒層で生成した水や電解質膜中の水と上記した式(1)の内部改質反応によって改質されるか、または水を必要としない他の反応機構により改質される。
 この反応で生成した電子(e)は、導電層を経由して外部に導かれ、いわゆる電気として携帯用電子機器等を動作させた後、カソードに導かれる。この導電層としては、この導電層を絶縁フィルム等からなる固定層上に一体化されたものを使用することも検討されている(例えば国際公開第2005/112172号パンフレット参照)。
 また、式(1)の内部改質反応で生成したプロトン(H)は、電解質膜を経てカソードに導かれる。カソードには、保湿層を介して、酸化剤ガスとして空気が供給される。カソードに到達した電子(e)とプロトン(H)は、カソード触媒層で空気中の酸素と次の式(2)に示す反応を生じ、この発電反応に伴って水が生成する。

 上記した内部改質反応が円滑に行なわれ、高出力で安定した出力を燃料電池において得るためには、式(2)によってカソード触媒層で生成した水(HO)のうち少なくとも一部が、電解質膜を透過してアノード触媒層に拡散し、式(1)の反応によって消費されるというサイクルが、円滑に行なわれる必要がある。
 これを実現するため、カソードの近傍に、カソード触媒層において生成した水を含浸して蒸散を抑止する保湿層を配置し、前記カソード触媒層の水分保持量が前記アノード触媒層の水分保持量よりも多い状態を形成し、浸透圧現象を利用して前記カソード触媒層で生成した水を前記電解質膜を通して前記アノード触媒層に供給している。
 上記のような、保湿層を利用してカソードからアノードへの水の供給を促進する燃料電池では、燃料電池の発電中は常に、カソード触媒層に大量の水分を保持した状態となり、この状態で発電を長期間続けていると、カソード触媒層の気孔が水で塞がれ、カソード触媒層における空気の拡散性が低下する、いわゆるフラッディングを生じ、発電特性が低下する場合があった。
 このフラッディングの発生のしやすさは、燃料電池の発電中のカソードの温度と密接な関係がある。カソードの温度が高い場合、そのカソード触媒層における水の蒸気圧は高いため、水蒸気は保湿層を透過して外気へ蒸散しやすい。一方、カソードの温度が低い場合、そのカソード触媒層やその周辺における水の蒸気圧は低く、水蒸気は外気へは余り蒸散せず、フラッディングが発生しやすい。
 ところが、通常の燃料電池では、カソードの温度は全ての場所で等しいとは限らず、膜電極接合体の平面方向(図1に示すX-Y方向)で温度分布が生じているのが一般的である。特に、カソード触媒層と、その周辺の空間の境目に当たる部分では、温度が急激に変化するために水蒸気の凝縮が生じやすく、従ってカソード触媒層のうち周縁部においては特にフラッディングを生じやすい傾向があった。
 また、カソードへ空気の供給が円滑に行なわれない場合には、カソードでの上記反応が円滑に行なわれなくなり、発電特性が低下することになる。
 本発明は、上記の事情に鑑みて成されたものであって、その目的は、長期間に亘って安定に出力を維持できる燃料電池を提供することにある。
 上記の課題を解決するために、本発明の一態様による燃料電池は、複数のアノードと、前記複数のアノードと対となる複数のカソードと、前記複数のアノードと前記複数のカソードとに挟持された電解質膜とからなる膜電極接合体と、前記膜電極接合体を挟持する集電体と、前記膜電極接合体の前記複数のアノード側に配置され、前記複数のアノードに燃料を供給するための燃料供給機構と、前記膜電極接合体の前記複数のカソード側に配置される保湿層と、を備え、前記集電体は、前記複数のカソード間の領域と対向して配置されたスリットを有している燃料電池である。

 以下、本発明の一実施形態に係る燃料電池について図面を参照して説明する。本発明の一実施形態に係る燃料電池は、例えば図1に示すように、複数のアノード(燃料極)と、複数のカソード(空気極)と、複数のアノードと複数のカソードとに挟持された電解質膜15とからなる膜電極接合体10とを備える。
 複数のアノードのそれぞれは、アノードガス拡散層12と、アノードガス拡散層12上に配置されたアノード触媒層11とを有している。複数のカソードのそれぞれは、カソードガス拡散層14と、カソードガス拡散層14上に配置されたカソード触媒層13とを有している。
 膜電極接合体10は、集電体Aによって挟持されている。集電体Aは、カソードガス拡散層14と接触するカソード導電層17と、アノードガス拡散層12と接触するアノード導電層16と、カソード導電層17およびアノード導電層16とを固定する固定層18とを備えている。
 膜電極接合体10のアノード側には、アノードに燃料を供給するための燃料供給機構40が配置されている。膜電極接合体10のカソード側には、カソードで生成した水を蒸散させづらく保持しやすい保湿層21が配置されている。
 ここで、本実施形態に係る燃料電池は、並んで配置されたカソードガス拡散層14およびカソード触媒層13(以下、この2つを合わせて「カソード」と称する)間の領域と対向ように固定層18にスリット18Aが設けられている。以下に、本実施形態に係る燃料電池の実施例について説明する。
(第1実施例)
 以下、第1実施例に係る燃料電池について説明する。アノード用触媒粒子(Pt:Ru=1:1)を担持したカーボンブラックに、プロトン伝導性樹脂としてパーフルオロカーボンスルホン酸溶液と、分散媒として水およびメトキシプロパノールを添加し、アノード用触媒粒子を担持したカーボンブラックを分散させてペーストを調製した。
 上記のようにして得られたペーストをアノードガス拡散層12としての多孔質カーボンペーパに塗布することにより、略矩形状のアノード触媒層11を得た。
 カソード用触媒粒子(Pt)を担持したカーボンブラックに、プロトン伝導性樹脂としてパーフルオロカーボンスルホン酸溶液と、分散媒として水およびメトキシプロパノールを添加し、カソード用触媒粒子を担持したカーボンブラックを分散させてペーストを調製した。得られたペーストをカソードガス拡散層14としての多孔質カーボンペーパに塗布することにより、略矩形状のカソード触媒層13を得た。なお、X-Y平面と略平行な方向において、アノードガス拡散層12と、カソードガス拡散層14とは、同形同大で、これらのガス拡散層12、14に塗布されたアノード触媒層11およびカソード触媒層13も同形同大である。
 上記したように作製したアノード触媒層11とカソード触媒層13との間に、電解質膜15としてのパーフルオロカーボンスルホン酸膜(商品名:nafion膜、デュポン社製)を配置し、上記したアノード触媒層11とカソード触媒層13とを相互に対向するように位置を合わせた状態でホットプレスを施すことにより、膜電極接合体10を得た。
 本実施例に係る燃料電池では、図1および図2に示すように、アノードガス拡散層12、カソードガス拡散層14の外形を、いずれもの略矩形状とし、2対のアノードガス拡散層12および2つのカソードガス拡散層14が、それぞれの長手方向(Y方向)が略平行で、その間隔が1.5mmとなるように並んで配置されるようにホットプレスを施し、膜電極接合体10を作成した。
 続いて、この膜電極接合体10を、集電体Aで挟んだ。この集電体Aは、複数の開孔を有するアノード導電層16およびカソード導電層17を、同形状の開孔を有する固定層18に一体化することで形成される。ここで、アノード導電層16およびカソード導電層17は、例えば、金、ニッケルなどの金属材料からなる多孔質層(例えばメッシュ)または箔体、薄膜あるいはステンレス鋼(SUS)などの導電性金属材料に金などの良導電性金属を被覆した複合材などをそれぞれ使用することができる。また、固定層18は、電極の外形形状と同一のポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)製等の絶縁フィルムを使用することができる。
 カソード導電層17、アノード導電層16および固定層18は、それぞれ図2に示す形状で、この集電体Aを膜電極接合体10を間に挟み二つ折りすることで、上記した2対のアノード触媒層11とカソード触媒層13とが電気的に直列に接続されるように、形成されている。図1に示すように、カソード導電層17はカソードと接触する位置において固定層18に一体化されている。アノード導電層16はアノードと接触する位置において固定層18に一体化されている。
 図1および図2に示すように、固定層18には、1つのスリット18Aが設けられている。スリット18Aは、2つのカソード間の領域と対向する固定層18の部分に、カソードの長手方向(Y方向)と略平行に延びて配置されている。スリット18Aの長手方向と略直交する方向(X方向)の幅は略0.3mmである。また、スリットの長さは、電極の長手方向の半分とし、電極長手方向の中心部をスリットの長さ方向の中心部と合わせるように配置した。
 電解質膜15と固定層18との間には、それぞれゴム製で図1に示す断面の幅2mmで、外形が固定層18と同型の略矩形状であるOリング19を挟持してシールを施した。その上で、略平行に並んだアノードガス拡散層12の間の領域と対向する電解質膜15の部分に、ガス抜き穴20を設けた。
 カソード導電層17の上には、保湿層21と、この保湿層21に積層された、複数の空気導入口23を有する表面カバー22とを有する。
 保湿層21は、カソードガス拡散層14に対して電解質膜15の反対側に位置している。この保湿層21は、カソード触媒層13で生成された水の一部を含浸して、水の蒸散を抑制すると共に、カソードガス拡散層14に酸化剤を均一に導入することで、カソード触媒層13への酸化剤(空気)の均一拡散を促進する機能を有している。この保湿層21は、たとえば多孔質構造の部材で構成され、具体的な構成材料としては、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレンの多孔質体などが挙げられる。この実施の形態において、保湿板9は発泡ポリエチレンシートである。
 表面カバー22は、保湿層21に対してカソード導電層17の反対側に位置している。表面カバー22は、外観が略箱状のものであり、例えばステンレス鋼(SUS)によって形成されている。また、表面カバー22は、酸化剤である空気を取入れるための複数の空気導入口23を有している。この空気導入口23は、例えばマトリクス状に設けられている。
 なお、保湿層21、表面カバー22のいずれにも、ガス抜き穴20に相当する位置に、穴を設け、ガス抜き穴20から排出されるガスを阻害しないようにした。
 一方、燃料分配層30に液体燃料Fを供給する燃料供給機構40は、図1に示すように、燃料収容部41と、燃料供給部42と、流路43とを主に備える。燃料収容部41には、燃料電池セルに対応した液体燃料Fが収容されている。液体燃料Fとしては、各種濃度のメタノール水溶液や純メタノール等のメタノール燃料が挙げられる。液体燃料Fは、必ずしもメタノール燃料に限られるものではない。
 液体燃料Fは、例えばエタノール水溶液や純エタノール等のエタノール燃料、プロパノール水溶液や純プロパノール等のプロパノール燃料、グリコール水溶液や純グリコール等のグリコール燃料、ジメチルエーテル、ギ酸、その他の液体燃料であってもよい。いずれにしても、燃料収容部41には、燃料電池セルに応じた液体燃料が収容される。
 燃料供給部42は、配管等で構成される液体燃料Fの流路43を介して燃料収容部41と接続されている。燃料供給部42には、燃料収容部41から流路43を介して液体燃料Fが導入され、導入された液体燃料Fおよび/またはこの液体燃料Fが気化した気化成分は、燃料分配層30およびアノード導電層16を介して膜電極接合体10に供給される。
 流路43は、燃料供給部42や燃料収容部41と独立した配管に限られるものではない。例えば、燃料供給部42や燃料収容部41を積層して一体化する場合、これらを繋ぐ液体燃料Fの流路であってもよい。すなわち、燃料供給部42は、流路等を介して燃料収容部41と連通されていればよい。
 燃料収容部41に収容された液体燃料Fは、重力を利用して流路43を介して燃料供給部42まで落下させて送液することができる。また、流路43に多孔体等を充填して、毛細管現象により燃料収容部41に収容された液体燃料Fを燃料供給部42まで送液してもよい。さらに、図1に示すように、流路43の一部にポンプ44を介在させて、燃料収容部41に収容された液体燃料Fを燃料供給部42まで強制的に送液してもよい。
 燃料分配層30は、例えば、複数の開口部31が形成された平板で構成され、アノードガス拡散層12と燃料供給部42との間に挟持される。この燃料分配層30は、液体燃料Fの気化成分や液体燃料Fを透過させない材料で構成され、具体的には、例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)樹脂、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)樹脂、ポリイミド系樹脂等で構成される。
 また、燃料分配層30は、例えば、液体燃料Fの気化成分と液体燃料Fとを分離し、その気化成分を膜電極接合体10側へ透過させる気液分離膜で構成されてもよい。気液分離膜には、例えば、シリコーンゴム、低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)薄膜、ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)薄膜、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)薄膜、フッ素樹脂(たとえばポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン・パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)など)微多孔膜などが用いられる。
 温度が25℃、相対湿度が50%の環境の下、上記したように作成した燃料電池に、純度99.9重量%の純メタノールを供給した。上記した条件の下、100時間発電を行った後の燃料電池の出力電圧(または、発電を開始したときの燃料電池の出力電圧)を計測した。
(第2実施例)
 以下に第2実施例に係る燃料電池について説明する。なお、以下の説明において、上述の第1実施例に係る燃料電池と同様の構成については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
 本実施例に係る燃料電池では、図3に示すように、集電体Aのカソード間の領域と対向する部分に、4つのスリット18Aが設けられている。4つのスリット18Aは、その長手方向がカソードの長手方向(Y方向)と略平行となるように、Y方向に並んで配置されている。スリット18Aの長手方向と略直交する方向(X方向)の幅は、略0.3mmである。また、スリットの長さは、電極の長手方向の長さの1/5とし、電極長手方向の中心部を対称中心として等間隔で配置した。
 本実施例に係る燃料電池は、上記のスリット18Aの構成以外は上述の第1実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。本実施例に係る燃料電池について、第1実施例の場合と同様にして出力電圧を測定した。
(第1比較例)
  以下に第1比較例に係る燃料電池について説明する。本比較例に係る燃料電池は、集電体Aのカソード間の領域と対向する部分にスリットを設けていない以外は、第1実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。この第1比較例の燃料電池において、第1実施例の場合と同様にして出力電圧を測定した。
 図4に示すように、上記第1比較例に係る燃料電池について測定された出力電圧を100としたとき、第1実施例に係る燃料電池の出力電圧は105であって、第2実施例に係る燃料電池について測定された出力電圧は115であった。
 すなわち、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分にスリット18Aを設けることによって、カソードで生成された水蒸気を逃がすとともに、外部から空気を取り入れることが可能となり、カソードでの反応が円滑に行なわれた結果、上記第1実施例および第2実施例に係る燃料電池では第1比較例に係る燃料電池よりも出力電圧が高くなったものと考えられる。
 すなわち、上記第1実施例および第2実施例に係る燃料電池によれば、長期間に亘って安定に出力を維持できる燃料電池を提供することができる。
(第3実施例)
  以下に、第3実施例に係る燃料電池について説明する。本実施例に係る燃料電池は、図5および図6に示すように、アノードガス拡散層12、カソードガス拡散層14の外形を、いずれも略矩形状とし、4対のアノードガス拡散層12および4つのカソードガス拡散層14が、それぞれの長手方向(Y方向)が略平行で、その間隔が1.5mmとなるように並んで配置されるようにホットプレスを施し、膜電極接合体10を作成した。
 Oリング19は、図5に示す断面の幅2mmで、外形が電極と同形状の略矩形状であり、ガス抜き穴20は、略平行に並んだアノードガス拡散層の間の電解質膜15に、4箇所に設けた。
 カソード導電層17、アノード導電層16および固定層18は、図6に示す形状で、上記した4対のアノード触媒層11とカソード触媒層13とが電気的に直列に接続されるように、形成されている。また、本実施例に係る燃料電池では、固定層18に2つのスリット18Aが設けられている。また、スリットの長さは、電極の長手方向の長さの1/3とし、電極長手方向の中心部を対称中心として等間隔で配置した。
 2つのスリット18Aは、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分において、その長手方向がカソードの長手方向(Y方向)と略平行となるようにY方向に並んで配置されている。本実施例では、X方向に並ぶ3つのカソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分の、中央の領域に2つのスリット18Aが設けられている。スリット18Aの長手方向と略直交する方向(X方向)の幅は、略0.3mmである。
 上記した以外は、第1実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。この第3実施例の燃料電池において、第1実施例の場合と同様にして燃料電池の出力電圧を測定した。
(第4実施例)
  以下、第4実施例に係る燃料電池について説明する。なお、以下の説明において、上述の第3実施例に係る燃料電池と同様の構成については、同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
 本実施例に係る燃料電池では、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分において、9つのスリット18Aが設けられている。図7に示すように、X方向に並ぶ3つのカソード間の領域と対向する部分のそれぞれに、3つのスリット18Aが設けられている。この3つのスリット18Aは、その長手方向がカソードの長手方向(Y方向)と略平行となるように、Y方向に並んで配置されている。スリット18Aの長手方向と略直交する方向(X方向)の幅は0.3mmである。
 上記した以外は、第3実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。この第4実施例に係る燃料電池において、第1実施例の場合と同様にして、燃料電池の出力電圧を測定した。
(第5実施例)
  以下、第5実施例に係る燃料電池について説明する。本実施例に係る燃料電池では、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分において、9つのスリット18Aが設けられている。第4実施例の場合と同様に、X方向に並ぶ3つのカソード間の領域と対向する部分のそれぞれに、3つのスリット18Aが設けられている。この3つのスリット18Aは、その長手方向がカソードの長手方向(Y方向)と略平行となるように、Y方向に並んで配置されている。本実施例では、スリット18Aの長手方向と略直交する方向(X方向)の幅は0.05mmである。
 上記した以外は、第3実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。この第5実施例に係る燃料電池において、第1実施例の場合と同様にして、燃料電池の出力電圧を測定した。
(第6実施例)
  以下、第6実施例に係る燃料電池について説明する。本実施例に係る燃料電池では、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分において、12のスリット18Aが設けられている。図8に示すように、X方向に並ぶ3つのカソード間の領域と対向する部分のそれぞれに、4つのスリット18Aが設けられている。この4つのスリット18Aは、その長手方向がカソードの長手方向(Y方向)と略平行となるように、Y方向に並んで配置されている。本実施例では、スリット18Aの長手方向と略直交する方向(X方向)の幅は0.3mmである。
 上記した以外は、第3実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。この第6実施例に係る燃料電池において、第1実施例の場合と同様にして、燃料電池の出力電圧を測定した。
(第2比較例)
  以下、第2比較例に係る燃料電池について説明する。本比較例に係る燃料電池では、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分にスリットが設けられていない。上記した以外は第3実施例に係る燃料電池と同様である。この第2比較例に係る燃料電池において、第1実施例の場合と同様にして、燃料電池の出力電圧を測定した。
 図9に示すように、上記第2比較例に係る燃料電池について測定された出力電圧を100としたとき、第3実施例に係る燃料電池の出力電圧は105、第4実施例に係る燃料電池について測定された出力電圧は110、第5実施例に係る燃料電池について測定された出力電圧は103、第6実施例に係る燃料電池について測定された出力電圧は115であった。
 すなわち、カソード間の領域と対向する集電体Aの部分にスリット18Aを設けることによって、カソードで生成された水蒸気を逃がすとともに、外部から空気を取り入れることが可能となり、カソードでの反応が円滑に行なわれた結果、上記第3乃至第6実施例に係る燃料電池では第2比較例に係る燃料電池よりも出力電圧が高くなったものと考えられる。
 すなわち、上記第3乃至第6実施例に係る燃料電池によれば、長期間に亘って安定に出力を維持できる燃料電池を提供することができる。
 なお、この発明は、上記実施形態そのままに限定されるものではなく、実施段階ではその要旨を逸脱しない範囲で構成要素を変形して具体化できる。例えば、上記実施形態に係る燃料電池では、集電体Aがカソード導電層およびアノード導電層を固定する固定層を備え、固定層にスリットが設けられていたが、集電体Aが固定層を備えない場合には、導電層にスリットを設けてもよい。その場合であっても、上述の実施形態に係る燃料電池と同様の効果を得ることができる。
 また、上記実施形態に開示されている複数の構成要素の適宜な組み合せにより種々の発明を形成できる。例えば、実施形態に示される全構成要素から幾つかの構成要素を削除してもよい。更に、異なる実施形態に亘る構成要素を適宜組み合せてもよい。
 本発明によれば、長期間に亘って安定に出力を維持できる燃料電池を提供することができる。

Claims (3)

  1.  複数のアノードと、前記複数のアノードと対となる複数のカソードと、前記複数のアノードと前記複数のカソードとに挟持された電解質膜とからなる膜電極接合体と、
     前記膜電極接合体を挟持する集電体と、
     前記膜電極接合体の前記複数のアノード側に配置され、前記複数のアノードに燃料を供給するための燃料供給機構と、
     前記膜電極接合体の前記複数のカソード側に配置される保湿層と、を備え、
     前記集電体は、前記複数のカソード間の領域と対向して配置されたスリットを有している燃料電池。
  2.  前記集電体は、前記カソードと接触するカソード導電層と、前記カソード導電層を固定する固定層とを備え、前記スリットは前記固定層に設けられている請求項1記載の燃料電池。
  3.  前記電解質膜は、ガス排出口を備え、
     前記ガス排出口は、前記スリットと対向して配置されている請求項1または請求項2記載の燃料電池。
