Definitions

  • This technical solution relates to sport equipment intended for ride on snow or on artificial surfaces.
  • ski where the longitudinal axis is symmetrical with longitudinal - axis of rider's shoe, or snowboard where longitudinal axis is orientated asymmetrically to the long axis of the board and where both shoes are attached to one board.
  • the disadvantages of the first concept lie in impossibility to sidle the skis and to simultaneously fully distribute the weight of the rider onto the edges of skis. The rider is therefore unable to take advantage of ride with use of lateral cut out radius .
  • the second concept implies the use of such radius because the binding axis is asymmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the board, but the problem here is the rider's stability when stopping on the slope. That is given by the fact that both shoes are steadily fixed to one board. Moreover, if the rider does not untie at least one shoe, it is almost impossible to move on flat ground or uphill.
  • the disadvantages of current stage are overcome with sport equipment according to this technical solution, which involves two boards having lateral cut with radius on both side of the board that is flexed upwards on at least one side and where shoe is attached to the board with binding, provided that the longitudinal axis of the board is horizontally asymmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the binding.
  • Such construction enables the rider to take advantage of snowboard style ride while having secured the stability in all phases of the ride and during stand.
  • the proposed sport equipment also enables the rider to move on flat grounds by bringing the balance on one board and pushing off with another, thus without the need to untie the shoe. Another advantage is the possibility to move uphill without the need to untie one or both shoes.
  • Fig. Ia shows binding of sport shoes to the boards, which are identical and are flexed upwards on both sides and have radius shaped lateral cut. From the figure it can be seen that longitudinal axis of shoe tied by binding to the board is horizontally asymmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the boards, while only one shoe is steadily tied with the binding on each board.
  • Fig. Ib is side view of embodiment displayed on Fig. Ia.
  • the Fig. 2a shows binding of shoes on two boards, which is another option of the embodiment of the boards with lateral radiuses, but here having bottom end lifted up on one end of the board and rounded tip flexed upwards on the other.
  • the Fig. 2b is side view of embodiment displayed on Fig. 2a.
  • the embodiment as presented on Fig. Ia consists of two identical and symmetrical boards 1_.
  • the boards 1_ are made-up using combined method where improved wood is surrounded by foam.
  • Each board _1 is provided with steel edges and skid on the bottom side and its length is 70 cm.
  • the boards 1_ are identical in terms of size and shape. They are rounded with rounded tips 5_ which are 29cm wide and are flexed upwards to the height of 5cm against the horizontal level of the board.
  • each board _1 has vertical flexure of 3mm in transverse axis of the board J 1 , and the flexure is made upward so that the steel edges are in touch with the snow surface when the rider puts on the board J 1 .
  • the boards _1 have soft snowboard type binding 3 ⁇ .
  • the center of the binding _3 is situated in the geometrical center of the board _1, and the binding 3_ axis is on both boards and in the same direction horizontally turned by 45° against the longitudinal axis of the board JL.
  • the boards JL are provided with bottom ends A_ lifted up on one end of the board JL and rounded tips f) flexed upwards on the other.
