Abstract
단말로부터 피드백되는 CQI의 수신 채널의 신호 대 잡음비(Signal to Noise Ratio: SNR)를 이용하여 CQI의 갱신 여부를 결정할 수 있는 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 채널 품질 지시자의 검출 장치는 단말로부터 피드백되는 채널 품질 지시자(Channel Quality Indicator: CQI)를 이용하여 각 채널 품질 지시자들의 인덱스에 대한 상관도(Correlation)를 산출하는 상관도 산출부; 상기 상관도 산출부에 의해 산출된 상관도를 기초로 모든 채널 품질 지시자들의 인덱스들 중 가장 큰 상관도에 상응하는 채널 품질 지시자의 인덱스인 글로벌 최대값 및 일부 채널 품질 인덱스들 중 가장 큰 상관도에 상응하는 채널 품질 지시자의 인덱스인 로컬 최대값을 결정하는 최대값 결정부; 및 상기 글로벌 최대값 및 상기 로컬 최대값 중 어느 하나를 이용하여 이전 채널 품질 지시자를 갱신하는 채널 품질 지시자 관리부를 포함한다.
