Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a packaged unit, whereby the outer surfaces of individual products (1) can be pushed against one another to form a combined product group (3). The products (1) are fixed against one another by means of (2) shrink-wrapping. According to the invention, at least one separation element (4) is introduced between the products (1) in one or more gaps (5, 7). The separation element (4) is positioned in such a way that the product group (3) substantially retains its dimensional stability even during the subsequent application of the shrink-wrapping (2) and for a considerable time afterwards.
