Abstract

Rindenarme Holzfasern, mit einem Rindenanteil von weniger als 2 Gew.%, vorzugsweise für die Pelletierung, weisen eine Länge von 2-10 mm und eine Dicke von 0.5-3 mm auf. Zu ihrer Herstellung werden Hackschnitzel zuerst getrocknet und zerkleinert, worauf die Rindenanteile zum grössten Teil abgetrennt werden. Die Trocknung erfolgt in einer Schüttung, die kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich gewendet wird, vorzugsweise bei einer Materialtemperatur von 45-70° C, die Zerkleinerung in einer Hammermühle mit speziellen Siebeinsätzen. Die Rindenanteile werden in einem zweidimensional wirkenden Sieb abgetrennt. Die Holzfasern können auch als Füllstoff für Kunststoffe verwendet werden.
