L’invention concerne un séchoir(1) comprenant un tambour (2) dans lequel on place le linge à sécher, qui est doté d’un corps cylindrique, d’une paroi arrière circulaire (3) recouvrant la surface arrière du corps, d’une sortie d’air (4) qui est située sur le côté avant du tambour (2) et à partir de laquelle l’air d’un cycle de séchage sort, et d’une entrée d’air (5) qui est située sur le côté arrière du tambour  (2).
