  • the air heating means 24 of hot-air generator 6 may comprise a resistor located inside the air recirculating conduit 21, preferably downstream of the centrifugal fan 22, whereas the air cooling means 23 of hot-air generator 6 may comprise an air/air heat exchanger that uses the external air to cool down the airflow arriving from rotatable drum 3.
  • a lid or cover 13 made in plastic material and shaped so as to form/incorporate the gasket-supporting collar 16 and optionally also the anti-entangling nose 19, allow to significantly reduce the appliance production costs. Furthermore the one-piece structure greatly simplifies the assembly of the rear wall 2b of the boxlike casing 2.
  • the laundry anti-entangling nose 19 may consist of a completely separated, substantially ogival-shaped rigid element which is still preferably made of plastic material, and is rigidly attached to the center of the lid or cover 13 preferably, though not necessarily, via one or more fixing members, such as anchoring screws, rivets or the like, that preferably engage in sequence the body of the lid or cover 13 and the coupling base or socket of said ogival-shaped rigid element.

Claims (15)

  1. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif (1) comprenant un boîtier extérieur (2) présentant une paroi avant (2a) et une paroi arrière (2b), un tambour rotatif (3) structuré pour accueillir le linge à sécher et fixé de façon à effectuer une rotation axiale à l'intérieur du boîtier (2), et un générateur d'air chaud (6) structuré pour faire circuler un courant d'air chaud à travers le tambour rotatif (3) ; ledit tambour rotatif (3) comprenant un corps tubulaire (3) substantiellement cylindrique dont le bord avant (3f) est accouplé de façon axialement rotative à une cloison avant (11), et dont le bord arrière (3r) est accouplé de façon substantiellement étanche à l'air et axialement rotative à la paroi arrière (2b) du boîtier (2) par l'intermédiaire d'un joint d'étanchéité circulaire arrière (10) ;
    sèche-linge à tambour rotatif (1), dans lequel ladite paroi arrière (2b) du boîtier (2) comprend :
    - une cloison de support (12) orientée substantiellement verticalement ;
    - un couvercle ou obturateur (13) constitué d'une matière plastique et fixé à la cloison de support (12) de manière à former, ensemble avec ladite cloison de support (12), une cavité intérieure (15) reliée fluidiquement au générateur d'air chaud (6) de manière à recevoir ledit courant d'air chaud ; une partie centrale (13c) du couvercle ou obturateur (13) étant perméable à l'air, de manière à permettre au courant d'air chaud de traverser le couvercle ou obturateur (13) et à s'écouler depuis l'intérieur du corps tubulaire (3) vers la cavité intérieure (15) ou vice versa ; et
    - un collier de support de joint d'étanchéité (16) substantiellement cylindrique, présentant un diamètre nominal supérieur à celui du bord arrière (3r) du corps tubulaire (3), tout en étant réalisé d'une seule pièce avec ledit couvercle ou obturateur (13) et agencé sur le couvercle ou obturateur (13) de manière à être substantiellement coaxial au bord arrière (3r) du corps tubulaire (3) ;
    le joint d'étanchéité circulaire arrière (10) étant encerclé et ajusté fermement dans le collier de support de joint d'étanchéité (16).
  2. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit collier de support de joint d'étanchéité (16) est réalisé d'une seule pièce avec ledit couvercle ou obturateur (13) à l'aide d'un procédé de moulage par injection.
  3. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle ou obturateur (13) est fixé à la face intérieure de la cloison de support (12) d'une manière substantiellement étanche à l'air.
  4. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend également un nez anti-emmêlement (19) faisant saillie à partir du couvercle ou obturateur (13), s'étendant à l'intérieur du corps tubulaire (3) et dimensionné/formé de manière à empêcher l'emmêlement du linge mouillé situé dans le tambour rotatif (3), quand le corps tubulaire (3) tourne.
  5. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle ou obturateur (13) présente une forme substantiellement circulaire, avec un diamètre extérieur supérieur à celui du bord arrière (3r) du corps tubulaire (3), tout en étant fixé à la cloison de support (12) substantiellement coaxiale à l'axe longitudinal (L) du corps tubulaire.
  6. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la bordure périphérique (13a) du couvercle ou obturateur (13) est en outre courbée en L vers le haut, de manière à former ledit collier de support de joint d'étanchéité (16).
  7. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon la revendication 5 ou 6, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle ou obturateur (13) présente substantiellement une forme d'assiette ou de bassine, tout en étant fixé à la face intérieure de la cloison de support (12) avec sa concavité directement tournée vers la cloison de support (12), de manière à former, ensemble avec le collier de support de joint d'étanchéité (16), un siège ou une gorge annulaire substantiellement circulaire (10a) dimensionné(e)/formé(e) pour accueillir le joint d'étanchéité circulaire arrière (10).
  8. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la cloison de support (12) est pourvue d'un bombement ou d'un renfoncement (12a) substantiellement en forme d'évier, lequel est aligné avec/tourné vers une embouchure arrière du corps tubulaire (3) délimité par ledit bord arrière (3r), fait saillie vers l'extérieur du boîtier (2) et communique avec le générateur d'air chaud (6) ; le couvercle ou obturateur (13) étant fixé à la cloison de support (12) au-dessus dudit bombement ou renfoncement faisant saillie vers l'extérieur (12a), tout en étant formé/dimensionné pour couvrir ledit bombement ou renfoncement faisant saillie vers l'extérieur (12a) pour former la cavité intérieure (15) de la paroi arrière (2b) du boîtier (2).
  9. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que le bombement ou renfoncement faisant saillie vers l'extérieur en forme d'évier (12a) présente une forme substantiellement circulaire et un diamètre extérieur inférieur à celui du joint d'étanchéité circulaire arrière (10) et du bord arrière (3r) du corps tubulaire (3), de manière à se trouver à l'intérieur du périmètre du bord arrière (3r) du corps tubulaire (3).
  10. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle ou obturateur (13) est fixé fermement à la cloison de support (12) par l'intermédiaire d'un joint d'étanchéité annulaire supplémentaire (14).
  11. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle ou obturateur (13) est fixé fermement à la cloison de support (12) au moyen d'un certain nombre d'éléments de fixation (17) s'engageant successivement dans la cloison de support (12) et le couvercle ou obturateur (13).
  12. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que le collier de support de joint d'étanchéité (16) est pourvu d'un certain nombre de sièges d'ancrage (17a) espacés le long du périmètre dudit collier, dont chacun est structuré pour recevoir un élément de fixation (17) respectif.
  13. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la cloison de support (12) est constituée d'un matériau métallique.
  14. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le générateur d'air chaud (6) comprend un ensemble de pompe à chaleur (23, 24) structuré pour refroidir puis chauffer continuellement l'air circulant à l'intérieur du tambour rotatif (3).
  15. Sèche-linge à tambour rotatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit corps tubulaire (3) substantiellement cylindrique est structuré pour reposer sur un certain nombre de rouleaux de support libres (8) agencés approximativement aux deux extrémités axiales du corps tubulaire (3), de manière à permettre au corps tubulaire (3) de tourner librement autour de son axe de référence longitudinal (L) à l'intérieur du boîtier (2).
