本发明涉及一种使用金手指连接器的电视功能扩展组件, 该电视功能扩 展组件应用于诸如液晶电视( Liquid Crystal Display TV, LCD TV ), 等离子体 电视( Plasma Display Panel TV, PDP TV )等电视机中, 其中电视功能扩展组 件能够可拆卸地安装到电视机的内部, 以及电视机为电视功能扩展组件提供 所需电源并通过简单的操作对电视功能扩展组件进行控制。
背景技术
目前, 被广泛使用的多为接收模拟信号的电视机, 在数字电视到来的时 代, 大多是通过外部设备, 如, 机顶盒、 DVD ( Digital Video Disc, 数字 视频光盘)、 DVB ( Digital Video Broadcasting, 数字视频广播, 一种国际承 认的数字电视公开标准), 在经过数字到模拟信号的转换后, 将数字信号接收 后转换成 A/V (标准视频信号)接口信号或 Y、 U、 V (模拟分量视频信号, 随着 DVD、 卫星数字电视机顶盒出现)接口信号等低显示分辨率的信号给电 视机显示, 如图 1所示, 电视机通过 A/V端口分别接驳 DVD机顶盒、 DVB 机顶盒、 IP ( Internet Protocol, 因特网协议) 电视机顶盒, 同时需要 3个 遥控器对其分别进行控制, 此时, 人们观看到的还是模拟的、 分辨率很低的 图像。 同时由于外部设备种类多, 这些设备间有许多资源重复, 如: 每个机 器都要电源, 每台设备都需一个遥控器, 每个产品都有数量不等、 颜色不同 的输出端子, 这样就造成了外部连线复杂, 安装、 使用极不方便而且占空间, 使用不同设备都需重新连一次线头。 同时, 多个遥控器也不便保存、 操作。 用户增加一个新设备, 必需是完整的机器, 因而用户综合使用成本偏高, 同 时各设备输出无规范, 同类产品接口、 性能差异大。
另一方面,一些昂贵的高端的数字电视机,具有高分辨率( 1080P、 1080i、 720P )的显示模式, 外部设备需要通过种类繁多的接口与其配接, 比如 VGA ( Video Graphics Array,视频传输接口)、 DVI( Digital Visual Interface, 数字视频接口)、 HDMI ( High Definition Multimedia Interface, 高清 晰多媒体接口 ) 等。 由于电视机本身接口种类繁多, 使得外部配套产品, 如: 机顶盒的输出模式也各式各样, 往往机顶盒的输出信号也无法确保将高 端电视机的图像质量效果发挥至极致。
现有技术中, 也有将 DVD、 DVB, IP电视机顶盒内置入电视机的组合式 电视机。 例如中国第 200420109717.1号发明专利, 公开了一种电视数字视频 光碟播放一体化机, 其通过将数字视频光碟 DVD播放功能内置于电视机中, 使得电视机既可以收看电视节目, 又能播放数字视频光碟 DVD。 又如中国第 200520115859.3号发明专利,公开了一种可录 IP电视一体机, 其将 IP电视机 顶盒内置到液晶电视中。
然而, 在上述组合式电视机的内部, DVD、 DVB, IP电视机顶盒是采用 不同的接口电路连接电视机的机芯电路。 各种接口的标准并不统一, 也不具 有扩展升级功能, 很难增加新的数字节目接收源。 并且不同的接口类型导致 了现有系统升级也比较困难, 更重要的是无法适应不同地区的加密电视接收, 无法满足各个地区、 各个运营商之间可能不同的信息流要求。 由于将某一种 特定功能与主机做成整机, 破坏了主机的标准化, 同时, 特定功能还可能不 是所有客户所需要的。 此类机型一般为某一类特殊客户群体定制, 用于特定 场合, 而非大众化需求, 产品不能全面推广。 这类组合式电视机由于组合模 块之间的差异, 导致产品规格不一、 不易实现行业标准化, 较难在行业内进 行相关产品的配套生产, 因此生产成本较高、 配套产品不规范。
随着数字化技术的发展, 目前, DVD、 DVB, IP电视机顶盒等设备内部, 对于音频、 视频信号的读出、 解压缩等处理都已完全数字化, 而且技术标准 规范。 针对数字电视的数字音视频标准接口 HDMI已经在全球推广普及, 这 样, 在这些设备与数字电视之间不再需要传送模拟信号, 而直接传输标准的 音频、 视频数字信号将是大势所趋。
针对现有技术的上述不足, 为了克服现有的电视机生产成本高, 配套产 品不规范, 同类产品标准不统一, 客户选购、 安装及使用复杂的诸多缺点, 也为了适应数字电视技术不断发展的趋势, 有必要提供一种符合数字电视标 准、 可智能化扩展功能、 并且适配范围广、 升级方便的电视功能扩展组件。 发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种符合数字电视标准、 并且适配范围广的电视 功能扩展组件。
为了实现上述目的, 本发明提供一种电视功能扩展组件, 该电视功能扩 展组件经由金手指连接器与显示装置的机芯电路电连接。 其包括功能扩展模 块、 外部接口以及存储器。 功能扩展模块通过金手指连接器与显示装置的机 芯电路电连接, 以相互通讯及传输数据。 外部接口连接在功能扩展模块和外 部设备或外部网络之间 , 使得功能扩展模块与外部设备或外部网络相互通讯 及传输数据。 存储器连接功能扩展模块, 以存储功能扩展模块传输的数据。
本发明提供的电视功能扩展组件 , 由于充分考虑了数字信号源的多样性 及发挥数字电视最佳显示效果以及系统未来扩展能力方面因素, 采用了模块 化设计, 即以电视功能扩展组件的模块化配合金手指连接器的设计标准化, 实现电视功能扩展组件接驳方便及扩展灵活, 这样, 既能完全体现数字电视 源显示标准, 还能收看不同类型的数字电视源, 如数字广播源、 数字播放源 及数字网络源等, 也能完成现阶段模拟电视向数字电视的过渡, 并实现追时 可录、 学习娱乐、 网络下载等诸多功能升级或增加新的功能。 消费者只需选 购符合标准化接口的电视功能扩展组件功能模块即可, 从而以较低而灵活的 成本提供了不同功能模块的电视功能扩展组件与电视机的组合使用, 同时支 持单独使用。 由于 "模块化" 的配置灵活的特点, 也拓展延伸了产品的消费 领域, 新技术、 新产品可通过加入新开发的模块, 加入系统中从而得到应用。 附图说明

现在, 将参考附图来详细地描述本发明的具体实施方式。 在这些图中, 用相同的标记表示相同或相似的元件, 即使在不同图中描述它们。
图 2是表示根据本发明的电视机的系统原理框图。
参考图 2所示, 本发明的电视机 30包括电视机芯子系统 31、 电视功能扩 展组件 32和连接在两者之间的金手指连接器 33。 电视机 30上开设有接插口 (图未示), 接插口与金手指连接器 33相对应, 用于安装电视功能扩展组件 32。
电视机芯子系统 31是电视机 30的主板, 其设置在电视机 30内部, 可以 通过电视机 30的多种外部接口接收不同格式的音频 /视频信号,这些信号可以 是模拟信号, 也可以是数字信号。 这些信号包括接收射频信号 (Radio
Frequency , RF )、 复合视频广播信号 ( Composite Video Broadcast Signal, CVBS )、 亮度 /色度信号(Y/C )、 色差信号(Y/Pb/Pr )、 VGA ( Video Graphics Array )信号、 DVI ( Digital Visual Interface )信号、 HDMI ( High Definition Multimedia Interface )信号以及其他现有的各种音频 /视频信号。 并将音频 /视 频信号进行处理后再输出至电视的显示面板和音响设备。 电视机芯子系统 31 通过金手指连接器 33可以与各种类型的电视功能扩展组件 32搭配使用。
电视功能扩展组件 32可以为电视机 30扩展功能, 其通过金手指连接器 33与电视机芯子系统 31之间进行电连接和数据通讯。 电视功能扩展组件 32 具有统一的外观尺寸和统一的接口定义,可以与电视机芯子系统 31搭配使用 , 并可通过金手指连接器 33从电视机 30上安装或拆卸。 电视功能扩展组件 32 包括不同功能的模块电路, 实现的功能也有所差异。 本发明的实施方式中, 电视功能扩展组件 32表现为扩展卡的形式, 本领域的普通技术人员在本发明 公开的基础上可以明了电视功能扩展组件 32的其他表现形式 ,例如扩展盒等。
本发明的电视功能扩展组件 32可以是但不局限于以下形式的组件: 可以 播放高清视频并可录像的追时可录扩展卡 , 可以学习英语和打游戏的学习娱 乐扩展卡, 可以代替机顶盒播放数字信号的数字电视扩展卡, 可以在网上下 载电影的网络下载扩展卡等等。 支持电视功能扩展组件 32的电视机 30可以 通过更换不同功能的电视功能扩展组件 32实现不同的功能。
金手指连接器 33 包括接插端子和接插槽口 (图未示)。 接插端子设置在 电视功能扩展组件 32上。 接插槽口设置在电视机 30的接插口内, 并与电视 机芯子系统 31 电连接, 可以安装固定设置在电视功能扩展组件 32上的接插 端子。 接插端子包括第一电源信号端子、 第一控制信号端子和第一音频 /视频 信号端子。 接插槽口包括第二电源信号端子、 第二控制信号端子和第二音频 / 视频信号端子, 分别用于与接插端子的对应的第一电源信号端子、 第一控制 信号端子和第一音频 /视频信号端子电连接。
当然, 在本发明的另一种实施方式中, 接插端子和接插槽口的位置关系 也可以相互调换, 即将接插槽口设置在电视功能扩展组件 32上。 接插端子设 置在电视机 30的接插口内, 并与电视机芯子系统 31电连接。
相对于具有不同功能的电视功能扩展组件 32来说, 其对应的金手指连接 器 33具有统一规格的接插端子和接插槽口, 这里的规格不仅指接插端子和接 插槽口的电信号的排布规定相同 , 而且指物理尺寸上的尺寸规格统一。
如图 2所示, 本发明的金手指连接器 33所传输的信号中, 至少包括电源 信号、通讯及控制信号和音频 /视频信号。 由于本发明的金手指连接器 33所传 输的信号中包括了电源信号, 因此可以实现电视机 30通过电源信号给电视功 能扩展组件 32提供电源, 同时通过通讯及控制信号在电视功能扩展组件 32 与电视机 30之间建立控制信息联络机制以便协调统一地工作, 从而在电视机 芯子系统 31和电视功能扩展组件 32之间传输音频 /视频信号。
本发明的金手指连接器 33在用统一规格的接插端子和接插槽口来规范电 源信号、 通讯及控制信号和音频 /视频信号输出标准的同时, 还规范了电视机 30的扩展接口的物理尺寸,将电视功能扩展组件 32以接插的形式连接和固定 在金手指连接器 33上。
在本发明中, 由于充分考虑了数字电视信号源的多样性及发挥数字电视 最佳显示效果以及系统未来扩展能力方面因素, 电视功能扩展组件 32采用了 模块化设计, 即以金手指连接器 33 的设计标准化配合电视功能扩展组件 32 的模块化, 实现产品接驳方便及扩展灵活, 这样, 既能完全体现数字电视源 显示标准, 还能收看不同类型的数字电视源, 如数字广播源、 数字播放源及 数字网络源等, 也能完成现阶段模拟电视向数字电视的过渡, 并实现追时可 录、 学习娱乐、 网络下载等诸多功能升级或增加新的功能, 消费者只需选购 符合标准化接口的电视功能扩展组件 32功能模块即可, 从而以较低而灵活的 成本提供了不同功能模块的电视功能扩展组件 32与电视机 30的组合使用, 同时支持单独使用。 由于 "模块化" 的配置灵活的特点, 也拓展延伸了产品 的消费领域, 新技术、 新产品可通过加入新开发的模块, 加入系统中从而得 到应用。
下面详细描述本发明的采用不同功能模块的电视功能扩展组件 32的电视 机的实施方式。
图 3是表示本发明提供的电视机的电路方块示意图。
其中, 电视机功能扩展组件可以为但不局限于扩展卡, 本发明实施例 组成图。 参考图 3所示, 本发明的电视机 40包括电视机芯子系统 41、 扩展 卡 42、 连接在电视机芯子系统 41和扩展卡 42之间的金手指连接器 43、 电源 模块 44以及 LCD ( Liquid Crystal Display, 液晶显示器) 面板 45。 其中电 源模块 44电连接电视机芯子系统 41和 LCD面板 45, 为其提供工作电压, 并 经由金手指连接器 43为扩展卡 42提供工作电压, 电源模块 44也可以整合入 电视机芯子系统 41内部。
电视机芯子系统 41是电视机 40的主板, 其设置在电视机 40内部。 其包 括电视机芯模块 411、 音频输出 412、 存储器 413等功能模块。
电视机芯模块 411 内部包括微处理器、 图形处理器、 视频处理单元、 音 频处理单元、 解调器、 解码器、 数据通讯总线、 I/O ( Input/Output, 输入 /输 出)接口等多个功能单元。 其可以通过电视机 4的多种外部接口不同格式的 音频 /视频信号, 这些信号可以是模拟信号, 也可以是数字信号。 如图 3所示, 这些信号可以包括 CVBS信号、 Y/C信号、 Y/Pb/Pr信号、 DVI信号、 HDMI 信号、 TV信号和 VGA信号等音频 /视频模拟信号或数字信号。 电视机芯模块 411通过外设 I/O接口与外部设备连接并通讯, 其通讯可以采用通用 I/O接口 (General Purpose IO Interface, GPIO)、 脉宽调制 (Pulse Width Modulation, PWM )、 通用异步收发器 ( Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter, UART)、 红外(Infrared, IR )等多种方式进行。 电视机芯模块 411对接收到的 不同格式的信号进行处理, 将视频信号转变为 LVDS 信号 (low voltage differential signaling, 低电压差动信号) 并输出至 LCD面板 45以显示图像, 将音频信号输出至音频输出 412以产生声音。
音频输出 412用于将电信号形式的音频信号转变为空气振动形式的声音 信号, 其可以是喇叭、 扬声器等器件。
存储器 413作为电视机芯模块 411的存储数据单元, 可以存储音频 /视频 信号数据以及通讯及控制信号数据。 其包括动态存储器 4131 和静态存储器 4132。 静态存储器 4132是分配固定的存储器, 一般用来存储全局变量或编译 前的数据、 指令等, 其可以是闪存(Flash )。 动态存储器 4131是按需分配的 存储器, 一般用来存储函数的形参、 自动变量或运行时分配的数据、 指令等, 其可以是 DDR( Double Data Rate,双倍速内存)、 SDR( Storage Data Register 存贮器数据寄存器)等动态随机存储器(Dynamic Random Access Memory, DRAM )。
参考图 3所示, 金手指连接器 43包括接插槽口 431和接插端子 432。 接 插槽口 431可以设置在电视机芯子系统 41上,也可以单独设置在一转接板上, 其设置方式可以根据扩展卡 42在电视机 40内的设置方式进行更改, 以使得 电视机 40的体积更小,重量更轻。 电视机芯模块 411与接插槽口 431电连接, 并传输通讯及控制信号 , 如 UART ( Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter, 通用异步收 /发器) /IIC ( Inter-Integrated Circuit, 内部 整合电路)/ IR ( Infrared,红外)通讯信号等、音频 /视频信号至接插槽口 431。 电源模块 44也电连接至接插槽口 431 , 以提供电源信号(如 12V/5V/3V电压 信号)。
接插端子 432设置在扩展卡 42上, 其可以是由印刷电路板制作的金手指 接插件, 当接插端子 432插入接插槽口 431时, 二者上的导电部相互接触形 成电连接, 使得通讯及控制信号、 音频 /视频信号以及电源信号传输至扩展卡 42。 接插端子 432的导电部表面镀金, 具有导电性好、 耐磨并抗氧化的特性。
扩展卡 42包括设置在印刷电路板 ( Printed Circuit Board, PCB )上的功 能扩展模块 421、 外部接口 422、 存储器 423以及直流转直流(DC/DC ) 电源 424。
功能扩展模块 421是扩展卡 42的核心部件,包括处理器和各种功能单元, 其接收由接插端子 432输入的通讯及控制信号、 音频 /视频信号或由外部接口 422输入的数据信号, 然后对上述信号进行执行、 处理、 运算等操作, 将处理 结果或数据返回电视机芯模块 411或输出至与外部接口 422相连接的外部设 备或外部网络。 其详细内部单元请参见下文图 4所述。
外部接口 422包括通用串行接口(Universal Serial Bus, USB接口) 4221、 读卡器 4222、 网络接口 4223和其他接口 4224中的任意一个或者至少两个的 组合。 USB接口 4221用于连接 USB存储器或其他采用 USB接口的串行通讯 设备。 读卡器 4222可以读取多种不同类型的存储卡。 网络接口 4223可以连 接以太网、 电话网、 有线网、 光纤网等多种外部网络, 其接口可以是 RJ-45、 RJ-1K 并口 (LPT口)、 SC端口 (光纤端口)、 同轴端口等多种形式。 其他接 口 4224例如是连接硬盘或光驱的 IDE ( Integrated Device Electronics, 集成 设备电路) 接口、 ATA/SATA ( Advanced Technology Attachment/ Serial Advanced Technology Attachment, 并行 /串行硬件驱动)接口、 鼠标接口、 键盘接口、 游戏手柄接口、 或是麦克风接口等多种类型。
存储器 423作为功能扩展模块 421的存储数据单元, 可以存储音频 /视频 信号数据以及通讯及控制信号数据。 其包括动态存储器 4231 和静态存储器 4232。 静态存储器 4232可以是闪存(Flash )。 动态存储器 4231可以是 DDR、 SDR等动态随机存储器(DRAM )。
直流转直流(DC/DC ) 电源 424接收由接插端子 432输入的电源信号 ( 12V ), 其作为开关电源, 可以对输入的电源信号进行升压 /降压操作, 将其 转变为所需的固定电压并输出至功能扩展模块 421、 外部接口 422和存储器 423 , 从而为各部件提供适合的工作电压。
图 4是表示本发明提供的功能扩展模块的电路方块示意图。
参考图 4所示, 本发明的功能扩展模块 421 包括诸多功能单元, 这些功 能单元可分为处理单元和接口单元这两大类型。 处理单元包括中央处理器 4211 , 以及流媒体处理单元 4219、 视频处理单元 42110、 音频处理单元 42111 和图形处理单元 42112 中的任意一个或者至少两个的组合。 接口单元包括静 态存储器接口 4212、 动态存储器接口 4213、视频输入输出接口 4214、 音频输 入输出接口 4215、 数据通信总线 4216、 外部设备接口 4217、 通用接口 4218、 USB控制器 42113、 网卡控制器 42114以及 ATA接口 42115中的任意一个或 者至少两个的组合。
处理单元负责执行接收的通讯及指令信号, 处理接收的音频 /视频信号。 例如流媒体处理单元 4219负责处理接收的流媒体数据。 视频处理单元 42110 负责处理视频信号。 音频处理单元 42111 负责处理音频信号。 图形处理单元 42112负责产生节目菜单等程序图形界面, 或者产生学习画面、 娱乐画面、 电 子游戏画面等用户界面。 中央处理器 4211负责控制所有的处理单元和接口单 元, 并接收和执行输入的通讯及指令信号。
接口单元负责内部、 外部以及各单元之间的数据通信和传输。 例如静态 存储器接口 4212负责对静态存储器 4232的读写操作。 动态存储器接口 4213 负责对动态存储器 4231的读写操作。 视频输入输出接口 4214负责视频信号 的输入和输出操作。音频输入输出接口 4215负责音频信号的输入和输出操作。 数据通信总线 4216负责通讯及指令信号的传输以及内部各单元之间的数据通 信操作。 外部设备接口 4217负责功能扩展模块 421与外部设备之间的通讯和 数据传输。 通用接口 4218不仅支持常用的中断和查询低速数据传输方式, 还 支持 DMA ( Direct Memory Access, 直接存储器访问)高速数据传输方式, 支 持多种 I/O端口类型, 可满足多种应用需求。 USB控制器 42113 负责读取外 部 USB数据,或对外部 USB设备进行数据写入。 网卡控制器 42114负责与外 部网络的通讯和数据传输。 ATA接口 42115 负责对读卡器、 硬盘、 光驱等设 备进行读写操作。
如图 3和图 4所示, 本发明将扩展卡 42标准化, 可使所述扩展卡 42适 应地域更广泛, 适用厂家更多。 而将各功能单元或接口进行标准的模块化设 计, 功能配置自由灵活而且成本相对较低。 产品设计时, 只需根据功能需要, 把一个个功能单元或接口组合起来就可以了。 这样, 为未来新功能、 新模块、 新接口的加入运用留有足够的发挥空间 , 并且将未来模块与己有模块联结无 论从接口规格、 软件升级等方面都己作好一切准备。 日后新增功能模块只需 使用同样的接口规格、 符合统一的协议规范就能直接加入。 另外, 整个系统 软件可通过 USB接口、 网 ^矣口等多种方式进行更新升级。
下面描述本发明的扩展卡的几种应用类型。 1、 数字一体机扩展卡: 数字一体机扩展卡的功能扩展模块 421包括机顶 盒芯片, 可以接收数字交互电视节目信号。数字一体机扩展卡的外部接口 422 包括 RF接口 (有线电视接口)、 网 ^矣口、 HDMI接口。 采用数字一体机扩 展卡, 不用连接机顶盒就可以收看有线数字高清信号。
2、高清可录模卡: 高清可录模卡的功能扩展模块 421包括视频处理单元、 音频处理单元、 USB控制器和 ATA接口, 可以将电视节目转换为视频文件并 存储至闪存(Flash ) 芯片。 高清可录模卡的外部接口 422 包括 USB接口和 IDE/ATA/SATA接口, 可以连接至 USB存储器或移动硬盘以存储视频文件。 高清可录模卡还可以包括计时器, 用户可以采用即时录制或定时录制录像方 式 , 随意录制电视节目。 此外 , 用户也可以在网上下载 MPEG ( Motion Picture Expert Group , 活动图像专家组)、 TS流( Transport Stream , 传输流)等高清 视频文件, 然后利用高清可录模卡进行播放。
3、 学习娱乐模卡: 学习娱乐模卡的功能扩展模块 421包括中央处理器和 图形处理单元, 静态存储器 4232存储有配画诗朗诵、 英语学习资料以及电子 游戏等程序, 外部接口 422 包括游戏手柄接口。 中央处理器和图形处理单元 可以根据用户选择来执行静态存储器 4232中存储的程序, 并将执行结果(包 括图形菜单、 音频信号、 视频信号)通过电视机 40进行播放。
应当注意, 上述对扩展卡的描述是为了使本领域技术人员更易于理解本 发明, 本发明的扩展卡不局限于上述结构, 各种新功能单元和接口单元均可 加入扩展卡中, 本领域技术人员亦可根据需求对扩展卡的功能单元和接口单 元以及其他功能模块进行组合设计。
现在, 将参考图 3和图 5详细地描述本发明的控制方法。 图 5示例说明 本发明提供的电视机的控制方法流程图。 首先将扩展卡 42插入电视机 40中 , 当扩展卡上的接插端子 432插入接插槽口 431 时, 二者上的导电部相互接触 形成电连接, 电源模块 44提供的工作电压经由接插端子 432和接插槽口 431 输入扩展卡 42, 使得插入检测电路导通。插入检测电路可以设置在扩展卡上, 也可以设置在电源模块 42或电视机芯子系统 41上, 其位于接插端子 432和 接插槽口 431所构成的电流回路上, 当接插端子 432和接插槽口 431 电连接 时, 电流回路导通, 插入检测电路输出一个标识信号 1至电视机芯子系统 41, 电视机芯子系统 41收到标识信号 1后, 通过通讯及控制信号控制电视功能扩 展组件 32的 DC/DC电源 424打开, DC/DC电源 424供应工作电压至扩展卡 42上的各单元模块, 使扩展卡 42正常工作。
在本发明优选的实施方式中, 插入检测电路输出的标识信号 1 与扩展卡 42的功能类型相对应,其不仅表示扩展卡 42已插入电视机并与电视机芯子系 统 41 电连接, 还进一步向电视机芯子系统 41告知了扩展卡的功能类型, 如 数字一体机扩展卡、 高清可录模卡或学习娱乐模卡等。 例如, 标识信号 1 可 以采用一组二进制码来表示不同功能类型的扩展卡。
随后, 扩展卡 42输出音频 /视频类型信号标识 2至电视机芯子系统 41, 音频 /视频类型信号标识 2可以通过一组二进制码来表示由外部接口 422输入 扩展卡 42 的信号类型, 这些信号包括射频信号 (RF )、 复合视频广播信号 ( Composite Video Broadcast Signal, CVBS )、 亮度 /色度信号( Y/C )、 色差信 号( Y/Pb/Pr )、 VGA ( Video Graphics Array )信号、 DVI ( Digital Visual Interface ) 信号、 HDMI ( High Definition Multimedia Interface )信号以及其他现有的各种 音频 /视频信号。
电视机芯子系统 41收到标识信号 2后, 切换对应的显示通道并输出扩展 卡 42的音频 /视频内容,电视机芯子系统 41和扩展卡 42之间通过 UART/IIC/IR 等通讯方式进行相互的信号控制与通信。
此后 , 用户可以通过遥控器选择电视机 40是在普通电视接收模式还是扩 展卡模式下收看节目。 遥控器发出的红外指令经电视机 40接收解码后, 可以 先传输至电视机芯模块 411 , 再经电视机芯模块 411处理后发出控制指令, 经 由金手指连接器 43传输至扩展卡 42的功能扩展模块 421 , 以进行对应操作; 当然, 由于扩展卡 42的功能扩展模块 421 中具有可以接收 IR指令的外部设 备接口 4217, 因此遥控器也可以与扩展卡 42之间直接进行数据通讯, 以控制 其操作。
尽管为示例目的, 已经公开了本发明的优选实施方式, 但是本领域的普 通技术人员将意识到, 在不脱离由所附的权利要求书公开的本发明的范围和 精神的情况下, 各种改进、 增加以及取代是可能的。

Claims

权利 要求 书
1、 一种电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述电视功能扩展组件经由一金 手指连接器与一显示装置的机芯电路电连接, 包括:
功能扩展模块, 通过所述金手指连接器与所述显示装置的机芯电路电连接, 以相互通讯及传输数据;
外部接口, 连接在所述功能扩展模块和外部设备或外部网络之间, 使得所 述功能扩展模块与外部设备或外部网络相互通讯及传输数据; 以及
存储器, 连接所述功能扩展模块, 以存储所述功能扩展模块传输的数据。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述金手指连 接器包括:
第一连接端, 设置在所述电视功能扩展组件上, 所述第一连接端包括第一 电源信号端子、 第一通讯信号端子和第一音频 /视频信号端子; 以及
第二连接端, 电连接所述显示装置的机芯系统, 所述第二连接端包括第二 电源信号端子、 第二通讯信号端子和第二音频 /视频信号端子, 用于分别与所述 第一连接端的对应的第一电源信号端子、 第一通讯信号端子和第一音频 /视频信 号端子电连接。
3、 根据权利要求 2所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述第一连接 端为一接插端子, 所述第二连接端为一接插槽口, 该接插槽口夹持并电连接所 述接插端子。
4、 根据权利要求 2所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述第一连接 端为一接插槽口, 所述第二连接端为一接插端子, 所述接插槽口夹持并电连接 所述接插端子。
5、 根据权利要求 2所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述功能扩展 模块、 外部接口和存储器设置在一印刷电路板上。
6、 根据权利要求 5所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述第一连接 端包括由所述印刷电路板制作的金手指接插件。
7、 根据权利要求 1所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述功能扩展 模块包括机顶盒芯片。
8、 根据权利要求 1所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述功能扩展 模块包括流媒体处理单元、 视频处理单元、 音频处理单元和图形处理单元中的 任意一个或者至少两个的组合。
9、 根据权利要求 1所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述外部接口 包括通用串行接口、 网络接口和读卡器接口中的任意一个或者至少两个的组合。
10、 根据权利要求 1 所述的电视功能扩展组件, 其特征在于, 所述显示装 置包括电视机。
