Abstract

Disclosed is a power divider using a coupling. The disclosed power divider comprises: an input connector; a first output connector and a second output connector; a housing; and a cover. The housing accommodates a first transmission line electrically coupled to the input connector and to the second output connector, and a second transmission line electrically coupled to the second output connector. The RF signal applied to the first transmission line through the input connector is distributed to the second transmission line by a coupling. The power divider of the present invention does not use the Wilkinson power divider system but uses a coupling, thus minimizing the degradation of the characteristics thereof caused by heat, and is appropriate for broadband applications, and reduces the influences of PIMD.
