Abstract

A motor-generator which is a rotating electrical machine is provided with a stator core (152), a coil that is wound around the stator core (152) and has a coil end portion (162) that protrudes from an end surface (152a, 152b) of the stator core (152), and a coil end cover (170) that forms a cooling oil passage (172) around the coil end portion (162). The coil end cover (170) is fixed by engaging with a portion of the stator core (152) and a fastening ring (176), which are members that make up part of the motor-generator.
