Abstract
L'invention porte sur un moteur optique pour projection d'image ayant une ou plusieurs sources lumineuses, telles que des diodes électroluminescentes ou des lasers, produisant de la lumière qui est ensuite collectée et dirigée sur un éclairage commun à travers un séparateur de faisceau polarisant qui réfléchit la lumière d'une polarisation et transmet la lumière de l'autre polarisation sur deux panneaux réfléchissants à cristaux liquides sur silicium, l'un apte à être utilisé avec la lumière réfléchie et l'autre avec la lumière transmise, les deux panneaux réfléchissant leur lumière respective et produisant des images qui sont ensuite réfléchies par chacun des panneaux et superposées en passant à travers un système de projection pour projeter l'image du moteur optique.
