The proposed electric motor or generator with permanent magnet, where the winding is positioned around the permanent magnet, the permanent magnet is mounted in the way that it can rotate around the longitudinal axis, when the Ampere force generated by interaction of electric current flowing through the winding and magnetic field creates a rotating movement, or the permanent magnet has a transmission for rotating around the longitudinal axis, when the properties of conductor moving in the magnetic field are applied. Permanent magnet has a radial magnetization. The electric motor or generator may be equipped with magnetic field screen.
Description
AMPER POWER ELECTRIC MOTOR OR GENERATOR
This invention is related with electric devices - motors and generators. Background Art The functioning of classical electric device is based on electromagnetic induction or an interaction between electric currents and magnetic fields. Every electric device can function as an electric generator or an electric motor. The main parts of electric device: stator and rotor.
An analogue of this invention could be a cylindrical permanent magnet electric motor, described in the US patent No. 6 054 789. The named electric motor or generator has a remote magnet cylinder - stator, comprised of many sections with pre-determined magnetic direction, and a cylindrical core - rotor, placed in the inner space of magnetic cylinder, having a possibility to rotate freely around the longitudinal axis of cylinder. The calculations and constructional implementation of magnetization direction of the magnet sections of this motor or generator are complex. Besides, contemporary ecological power- stations require generators, and vehicles driven by electric power require electric motors functioning in low revolution rate mode.
Summary of Invention Functioning principle of electric device with the presented construction is based on characteristics of conductor moving in magnetic field (generator mode) and characteristics of Ampere power (motor mode). Two congenerous constructions of motor or generator are introduced on the basis of these characteristics: longitudinal and discal.
The new proposed electric motor with permanent magnet, where the winding through which the electric current is flowing is positioned around the permanent magnet, the permanent magnet is mounted in the way that it can rotate around the longitudinal axis, when the Ampere force generated by interaction of electric current and magnetic field creates a rotating movement. The permanent magnet of this motor has a radial magnetization, and the form of permanent magnet winding is cylindrical with longitudinal axis or discal. A new electric generator with permanent magnet where the permanent magnet has a transmission for rotation around the longitudinal axis and the winding is positioned around the remote magnet is also proposed. The permanent magnet of this generator has a radial
magnetization, and the form of permanent magnet winding is cylindrical with longitudinal axis or discal.
The electric motor or electric generator may be equipped with magnetic field screen.
Brief Description of Drawings
The drawings attached to description depict the following:
Fig. 1 - functioning principle of electric motor or generator when the construction of motor or generator is longitudinal; Fig. 2 — scheme of interaction between electric current flowing through the winding and magnetic field, when the construction of motor or generator is longitudinal; Fig. 3 — working construction with magnet screen;
Fig. 4 and 5 - scheme of interaction between electric current flowing through the winding and magnetic field, when the construction of motor or generator is discal; Fig. 6 — functioning principle of electric motor or generator when the construction of motor or generator is discal;
Fig. 7 - working construction.
Description of Embodiment Motors of both constructions transform electric power into rotating mechanical movement. The functioning principle is depicted in Fig. 1 and 6. When electric current flows through the winding 1, it interacts with magnetic field of the magnet 2 (Fig. 2, 4 and 5). Ampere power is generated between the winding and magnetic field, which creates a rotating movement. The functioning principle is the same for longitudinal and discal constructions, only the constructions differentiate. Working constructions are shown in Fig. 3 and 7. The magnetic field screen 3 has two purposes:
1. ecological, so the rotating magnets do not emit alternating magnetic fields into atmosphere;
2. to make the magnetic flow cross the winding perpendicularly. The screen 3 can not be produced of integral electric-conductive material, in order to avoid the occurrence of short circuited loops. The motor or generator also operates without the magnetic field screen 3.
The rotating movement force of this motor can be increased without increasing the consumption of electric power. Since the Ampere power (FA=I-L-B-sin α) is directly proportional to the force of magnetic field, the length of conductor and the flowing current, so without increasing the current in the winding, but by increasing the length of conductor or parameters of magnet (the strength of magnetization or linear values), the rotating movement force can be increased.
The laboratory surveys have shown that the motor revolution stabilizes automatically, because the conductor moving in the magnetic field generates the electric current, coinciding with the supply voltage by polarity. Electric device operating in generator mode uses the properties of conductor moving in the permanent magnetic field. Since the "magnet field is always closed", the magnet-arrestors are not used in generator. The exclusions are cases when the magnet is produced of separate magnets. Both mechanical and electronic collectors can be used in generator. The number of windings depends on the need; it is not specific and may not be a base for another patent.
The proposed electric device (electric motor or generator) is characterized by: 1. high rate of economy, since significantly less black metal is used for the device (the main weight of contemporary motors and generators is comprised of the black metal magnetic arrestors). 2. electric power is not used for re-magnetization of magnetic arrestors and magnetic cores (in motor mode), this allows to save electric power; 3. the device does not emit noise. All temporary generators operate in uneven mechanic load conditions, which increases vibration and emit noise. The proposed device does not have this deficiency. 4. electric device operates as a generator well in low revolution rate mode. This generator is perfect for power-stations, wind and other ecological power stations (the "noisy" reducers are not required);
5. electric device as a motor operates best in a low revolution rate mode by its technical nature, reducers are not required, the motor is especially good for electric-driven vehicles, including floating ones. These motors can be applied for other purposes too.
