Abstract

본 발명은 탄성천으로 마감된 의자용 판체 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로는, 열수축 성질을 가진 탄성사를 함유하는 탄성천(112)과 이 탄성천의 가장자리를 따라 고정된 스트립(114)으로 이루어진 탄성 멤버(110)와, 상기 탄성 멤버(110)의 스트립(114)을 끼우도록 측면을 따라 띠홈(122)이 형성된 커버(120)와, 상기 커버(120)가 고정되어 탄성 멤버(110)의 이탈을 방지하며 판체의 기초를 이루는 프레임(130)으로 이루어지며, 열수축 성질을 가진 탄성사를 함유하는 탄성천(112)의 가장자리에 스트립(114)을 고정한 후, 상기 스트립(114)이 고정된 탄성천(112)을 프레임(130)에 고정하여 판체(100)를 제조한 다음, 상기 판체(100)에 고정된 탄성천을 가열하여 상기 탄성사를 수축시켜 탄성력을 부여함에 의해 제조된다. 이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 간단한 방법으로 프레임에 탄성천을 결합하여 사람이 그 위에 앉아도 지지할 수 있을 정도의 탄성을 부여할 수 있다는 효과가 있다.
