Abstract

The invention relates to a propeller drive assembly for steering and driving a ship (1), comprising at least one drive motor (2) and at least one transmission housing (5) in a hull, in addition to at least one steering housing (8) with at least one propeller (9) outside the hull. The steering housing (8) is pivotally mounted on the transmission housing (5) by means of a steering shaft (12) for steering the ship (1) and at least one cooling unit for cooling at least one lubricant is integrated into the transmission housing (5).
