Abstract

L’invention concerne un appareil destiné à laver et/ou épaissir une pâte à papier comprenant un premier et un second rouleau presseur (102, 104), chaque rouleau presseur (102, 104) étant perméable et pouvant tourner autour d’un axe de rotation (218, 218), et une cuve (114, 116, 118) dans laquelle les rouleaux presseurs (102, 104) sont installés. Les rouleaux presseurs (102, 104} définissent une ligne de contact (112) entre eux. L’appareil comprend une première paire de logements de roulement (202) dotés de roulements (204) pour le premier rouleau presseur (102), chaque logement de roulement (202) de la première paire et le premier rouleau presseur (102) étant mobiles par rapport au second rouleau presseur (102, 104) pour modifier la ligne de contact (112). L’appareil comprend une seconde paire de logements de roulement (208) dotés des roulements (208) pour le second rouleau presseur (104). Chaque logement de roulement (202) de la première paire et le logement de roulement opposé (208) de la seconde paire sont reliés par un dispositif de réglage (220 ; 501) conçu pour pousser le premier rouleau presseur (102) à distance et en direction du second rouleau presseur (104). Le dispositif de réglage (220 ; 501) est relié à au moins un élément de mesure conçu pour fournir des valeurs de mesure au moyen desquelles la charge linéaire agissant sur la pâte à papier dans la ligne de contact (112) est déterminée.
