Abstract

La présente invention concerne un bogie à largeur variable amélioré au moyen d'essieux rotatifs qui comprend : une plateforme-support de wagon ferroviaire; au moins un essieu rotatif (2) qui comporte dans ses zones extérieures des pièces support (10) des ressorts de suspension (11) de ladite plateforme, sur lequel sont montées deux roues (1) par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif d'accouplement qui permet leur déplacement latéral et auquel sont assemblés des guides de verrouillage (18) au moyen desquels le déplacement latéral est commandé pour que les guides soient dans des positions correspondant aux deux largeurs de voies; et un dispositif de changement de voie logé dans un élément tubulaire (29) assemblé à la plateforme et monté dans la partie intérieure de l'essieu rotatif (2) fondé sur la coopération desdits guides de verrouillage (18) et un verrou (22) pouvant être déplacé verticalement lors de son actionnement par des guides d'enclenchement/libération (24) présents dans un système de changement.
