Abstract

The invention relates to a shelf element (1) and to a shelf, which is composed of a plurality of such shelf elements. The shelf element (1) has a partially cylindrical main section (15), which being curved in the cross-section thereof extends over an angle of 120º. At the two ends of said main section (15), the shelf element comprises connecting structures (6, 8) which complement each other and allow the shelf element (1) to be connected to additional shelf elements. In addition, a connecting structure (14) is present, which is disposed centrally on the radial outside of the main section (15) and allows adjoining shelf elements to be connected tangentially to each other.
