Abstract

L'invention concerne un fil dentaire pourvu d'un noeud ellipsoïdal présentant la caractéristique de comprendre des noeuds ellipsoïdaux, spongieux, mous et rugueux incorporés successivement sur toute la longueur du fil dentaire. Les noeuds permettent d'améliorer significativement le nettoyage buccodentaire car ils éliminent les restes d'aliments coincés entre les dents et la gencives et entre les dents en supprimant et en entraînant la plaque dentaire que les fils dentaires actuels ne permettent pas de détacher. Les bactéries contenues dans la plaque produisent des toxines susceptibles d'irriter les gencives provoquant des rougeurs des gencives, des gonflements et de saignements, symptômes typiquement associés à la gingivite. Grâce à l'élimination de la plaque, on évite la formation du tartre, ce qui améliore le nettoyage et l'hygiène buccodentaire. Le but principal de l'invention étant d'améliorer l'hygiène buccodentaire.
