다수의 사용자는 공동의 과제를 수행하기 위한 공동 업무를 수행하기 위해 협업(協業) 그룹을 구성할 수 있다. 여기서, 협업 그룹은 다수 개가 될 수 있다. 그리고, 한 명의 사용자가 여러 협업 그룹에 소속될 수 있다.
예를 들어, 사용자-1, 사용자-2 및 사용자-3은 협업 그룹-A를 구성하고, 사용자-3, 사용자-4 및 사용자-5는 협업 그룹-B를 구성할 수 있는데, 이 경우 사용자-3은 협업 그룹-A와 협업 그룹-B에 소속되게 된다.
내부 네트워크(200)는 인증 서버(210), 협업 포탈 서버(220), 연계 I/F(230), 서비스 제공 서버(240)가 상호 연결되어 구축된다.
인증 서버(210)는 사용자 PC(100)를 통해 내부 네트워크(200)로 접근하는 사용자가 정당한 사용자인지 여부를 인증하는 서버이다. 이를 위해, 인증 서버(210)에 구현된 인증 모듈(212)은 사용자 정보(214)를 이용하여, 사용자 PC(100)를 통해 내부 네트워크(200)로 접근하는 사용자가 정당한 사용자인지 여부를 판단하고 정당한 사용자로 판단된 경우에만 접근을 허용한다.
협업 포탈 서버(220)는 사용자 PC(100)를 통해 사용자에게 협업 포탈을 제공하는 서버이다. 구체적으로, 협업 포탈 서버(220)는 사용자 PC(100)를 통해 내부 네트워크(200)로 접속한 사용자가 소속되어 있는 협업 그룹들에 대한 협업 포탈들을 생성하고, 생성한 협업 포탈들을 사용자에게 제공한다.
전술한 예에서, 사용자-3은 협업 그룹-A와 협업 그룹-B에 소속되어 있는 것으로 상정하였다. 이와 같은 사용자-3이 사용자 PC(100)를 통해 내부 네트워크(200)로 접속하면, 협업 포탈 서버(220)는 그룹-A에 대한 협업 포탈과 협업 그룹-B에 대한 협업 포탈을 제공하게 된다.
협업 포탈 서버(220)에 의해 제공되는 협업 포탈은 그룹마다 다를 수 있다. 즉, '협업 그룹-A에 대한 협업 포탈'(이하, '협업 포탈-A'로 표기)과 '협업 그룹-B에 대한 협업 포탈'(이하, '협업 포탈-B'로 표기)은 각기 다를 수 있다. 구체적으로, 협업 포탈-A에 포함되어 있는 포트릿들과 협업 포탈-B에 포함되어 있는 포트릿들이 다를 수 있다. 여기서, 포트릿(portlet)은 포탈에 나타나 포탈의 일부를 구성하는 콤포넌트로, 포탈은 포트릿들로 구성된다고 할 수 있다.
협업 그룹-A를 "09년 경영계획 수립 그룹"으로 상정하고, 09년 경영계획 수립 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈을 도 2에 도시하였다. 그리고, 협업 그룹-B를 "팀룸 프로젝트 구축 그룹"으로 상정하고, 팀룸 프로젝트 구축 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈을 도 3에 도시하였다.
도 2와 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, "메일-포트릿", "결재-포트릿", "스케쥴-포트릿" 및 "메신저-포트릿"은 09년 경영계획 수립 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈과 팀룸 프로젝트 구축 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈에 공통된다. 하지만, "업무-포트릿", "게시물-포트릿" 및 "의견수렴-포트릿"은 09년 경영계획 수립 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈에만 포함되어 있으며, "공지사항-포트릿"은 팀룸 프로젝트 구축 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈에만 포함되어 있다.
여기서, 메일-포트릿은 사용자가 메일 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿이고, 결재-포트릿은 사용자가 결재 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿이며, 스케쥴-포트릿은 사용자가 스케쥴 관리 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿이고, 메신저-포트릿은 사용자가 다른 사용자와 메신저 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿이다. 그리고, 업무-포트릿은 사용자가 업무 관련 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿이고, 게시물-포트릿은 협업 그룹의 자료 게시 서비스에 이용되는 포트릿이며, 의견수렴-포트릿은 협업 그룹의 의견 수렴 서비스에 이용되는 포트릿이고, 공지사항-포트릿은 협업 그룹의 공지 서비스에 이용되는 포트릿이다.
도 2와 도 3을 통해 알 수 있는 바와 같이, 협업 포탈 마다 구성된 포트릿들의 종류와 개수가 다르고, 포트릿들의 레이아웃이 다름을 알 수 있다. 이와 같이, 협업 그룹 마다 협업 포탈은 다르게 구성될 수 있는데, 협업 포탈이 어떻게 구성되는지는, 그 협업 포탈을 이용하는 협업 그룹에 소속된 사용자들 중 협업 포탈 관리자로 지정된 자의 선택과 결정에 따르게 된다.
한편, 협업 포탈에 마련된 바로 가기 메뉴를 통해, 사용자는 자신이 소속된 다른 협업 그룹의 협업 포탈을 바로 호출할 수 있다. 도 4에는 협업 포탈의 바로 가기 메뉴에 대한 일 예를 도시하였다. 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이, 바로 가기 메뉴는, 사용자가 소속된 협업 그룹들에 대한 리스트를 제공하며, 리스트에 나열된 협업 그룹들 중 사용자가 선택한 협업 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈을 호출하기는데 이용되는 메뉴이다. 만약, 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 사용자가 소속된 협업 그룹들에 대한 리스트가 표시된 상태에서 사용자가 "팀룸 프로젝트 구축 그룹"을 선택하게 되면, 현재 표시된 09년 경영계획 수립 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈은 팀룸 프로젝트 구축 그룹에 대한 협업 포탈로 바뀌게 된다.
이하에서는, 다시 도 1을 참조하여 내부 네트워크(200)를 구성하는 다른 구성들에 대해 상세히 설명한다.
연계 I/F(230)는 협업 포탈 서버(220)와 외부기기들 간의 통신 인터페이스를 제공한다. 구체적으로, 연계 I/F(230)는, 1) 협업 포탈 서버(220)가 인터넷(310)을 통해 외부 컨텐츠 서버(320)와 통신가능하고, 2) 협업 포탈 서버(220)가 업무시스템 서버(330)와 통신가능하도록 통신 인터페이스를 제공한다.
여기서, 외부 컨텐츠 서버(320)는 인터넷(310)을 통해 컨텐츠를 내부 네트워크(200)에 제공하는 서버이고, 업무시스템 서버(330)는 업무에 필요한 프로그램, 툴, D/B, 기타 자료나 정보 등을 내부 네트워크(200)에 제공하는 서버이다.
서비스 제공 서버(240)는 협업 포탈의 포트릿들에 나타난 서비스들을 실제로 제공하거나, 서비스들을 제공하기 위해 필요한 작업을 수행하는 서버이다. 서비스 제공 서버(240)에는 커뮤니케이션 서비스 모듈(242), 정보공유 모듈(244), 정보축적 모듈(246) 및 정보검색 모듈(248)이 구축되어 있다.
커뮤니케이션 서비스 모듈(242)은 메일 서비스, 결재 서비스, 스케쥴 관리 서비스, 메신저 서비스, 업무 관련 서비스, 자료 게시 서비스, 의견수렴 서비스, 공지사항 게시 서비스 등을 제공하는 모듈이다.
정보공유 모듈(244)은 정보축적 모듈(246)에 의해 저장되어 있는 정보를 사용자들이 공유할 수 있도록 하는 모듈이며, 정보검색 모듈(248)은 사용자가 정보축적 모듈(246)에 의해 저장되어 있는 정보들을 검색할 수 있도록 하는 모듈이다.
도 5는 전술한 협업 포탈 서버(220)를 기능적인 측면에서 보다 상세히 설명하기 위한 도면이다. 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 협업 포탈 서버(220)에는 권한관리 모듈(221), 회원관리 모듈(222), 협업 포탈 생성 모듈(223), 포트릿 관리 모듈(224), 연계 관리 모듈(225) 및 서비스 관리 모듈(226)이 구현되어 있다.
권한관리 모듈(221)은 협업 그룹에 소속된 회원들에게 부여되는 권한을 관리하는 모듈이다. 권한관리 모듈(221)에 의한 권한 관리는 협업 그룹 별로 이루어진다. 관리자 권한이 부여된 협업 그룹의 회원은 협업 포탈을 생성, 변경, 폐쇄할 수 있는 자이다. 여기서, 협업 포탈의 변경이란, 협업 포탈에 포함되어 있는 포트릿을 추가, 교체, 삭제하거나, 협업 포탈에 포함된 포트릿들의 레이 아웃을 변경하는 것을 의미한다.
회원관리 모듈(222)은 협업 그룹에 소속된 회원들에 대한 정보를 협업 그룹 별로 관리하는 모듈이다.
협업 포탈 생성 모듈(223)은 협업 그룹 별로 협업 포탈을 생성하는 모듈이며, 포트릿 관리 모듈(224)은 협업 포탈에 대한 포트릿을 생성, 변경, 삭제하는 모듈이다.
연계 관리 모듈(225)은 협업 포탈 서버(220)가 서비스 제공 서버(240), 업무시스템 서버(330) 및 외부 컨텐츠 서버(320)와 연계되도록 관리하는 모듈이다.
서비스 관리 모듈(226)은 서비스 제공 서버(240)에서 제공가능한 서비스들 중 협업 포탈에 구현되어 있는 서비스들만이 구현되도록 협업 포탈 서버(220)를 통해 사용자 PC(100)로 제공되도록 하는 모듈이다.
이하에서는, 지금까지 설명한 협업 포탈 서버(220)가 협업 포탈을 제공하는 과정에 대해, 도 6을 참조하여 상세히 설명한다.
도 6에 도시된 바와 같이, 협업 포탈 서버(220)는 사용자 PC(100)에 협업 포탈 개설에 대한 안내를 전송한다(S610). 전송된 안내는 사용자 PC(100)에 디스플레이되어 사용자는 이를 확인할 수 있다.
사용자 PC(100)를 통해 사용자가 협업 포탈 개설을 신청하고(S620-Y), 협업 포탈에 대한 기본 정보를 입력하면(S630), 협업 포탈 서버(220)는 협업 포탈 개설을 승인하거나 불허한다(S640).
S620단계에서 협업 포탈 개설을 신청한 사용자는 협업 포탈의 관리자가 되며, S630단계에서 입력하는 협업 포탈에 대한 기본 정보에는, 협업 포탈의 명칭, 회원 자격, 협업 포탈의 레이 아웃, 협업 포탈에 포함될 포트릿들이 포함된다.
S640단계에서 협업 포탈 개설이 승인되면(S640-Y), 협업 포탈 생성 모듈(223)은 새로운 협업 포탈을 생성한다(S650). S650단계에서 생성되는 협업 포탈의 명칭은 S630단계에서 입력된 협업 포탈의 명칭에 따른다.
이후, 회원관리 모듈(222)은 협업 포탈의 회원(즉, 협업 그룹의 구성원)을 등록시키고, 권한관리 모듈(221)은 등록된 회원들에 대해 권한을 부여한다(S660).
한편, 포트릿 관리 모듈(224)은 협업 포탈에 포트릿들을 구성한다(S670). S670단계에서의 포트릿 구성은 S630단계에서 입력된 포트릿들을 입력된 레이 아웃에 따라 배치하는 과정에 의한다.
협업 포탈 서버(220)는 이와 같은 과정에 의해 생성된 협업 포탈을 협업 그룹의 회원들에게 제공하며, 협업 그룹의 회원들은 협업 포탈 서버(220)에 의해 제공되는 협업 포탈을 이용하여 협업을 수행한다(S680).
이후, 사용자 PC(100)를 통해 협업 그룹의 관리자가 협업 포탈 폐쇄를 신청하면(S690-Y), 협업 포탈 서버(220)는 신청된 협업 포탈을 폐쇄한다(S700).
또한, 이상에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 대하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 실시예에 한정되지 아니하며, 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진자에 의해 다양한 변형실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 이러한 변형실시들은 본 발명의 기술적 사상이나 전망으로부터 개별적으로 이해되어져서는 안될 것이다.

Claims (16)

  1. 협업(協業)을 위한 협업 포탈을 이용하는 그룹에 따라 각기 다르게 생성하는 단계; 및
    상기 생성단계에서 생성된 협업 포탈을 해당하는 그룹의 회원에게 제공하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    협업 포탈에 포함되는 포트릿(portlet)들은, 협업 포탈 마다 각기 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.
  3. 제 2항에 있어서,
    상기 협업 포탈에 포함되는 포트릿들은, 상기 협업 포탈을 이용하는 그룹의 관리자에 의해 선택된 것들임을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 포트릿들은,
    메일 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿, 결재 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿, 스케쥴 관리 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿, 메신저 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿, 업무 관련 서비스를 제공받는데 이용하는 포트릿, 자료 게시 서비스에 이용되는 포트릿, 의견 수렴 서비스에 이용되는 포트릿 및 공지 서비스에 이용되는 포트릿 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.

    상기 협업 포탈은,
    상기 협업 포탈을 이용하는 그룹의 회원이 소속된 다른 그룹의 협업 포탈로 이동할 수 있는 메뉴를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.

    상기 메뉴는,
    상기 회원이 소속된 다른 그룹들의 협업 포탈들에 대한 리스트를 제공하고, 제공된 리스트를 이용하여 상기 회원이 선택한 그룹의 협업 포탈로 이동하도록 하는 메뉴인 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 협업 포탈에 포함된 포트릿들이 배치되는 상기 협업 포탈의 레이 아웃은, 상기 협업 포탈 마다 각기 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.
  8. 제 7항에 있어서,
    상기 협업 포탈의 레이 아웃은, 상기 협업 포탈을 이용하는 그룹의 관리자에 의해 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 제공방법.
  9. 사용자 단말; 및
    협업(協業)을 위한 협업 포탈을 이용하는 그룹에 따라 각기 다르게 생성하고, 생성된 협업 포탈을 상기 사용자 단말을 통해 해당하는 그룹의 회원에게 제공하는 협업 포탈 서버;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 시스템.
  10. 제 9항에 있어서,
    협업 포탈에 포함되는 포트릿(portlet)들은, 협업 포탈 마다 각기 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 협업 포탈 시스템.
