Abstract
The present invention relates to a dryer, and more particularly, to an agricultural and marine product dryer using a heat pump system that dries agricultural and marine products or the like while alternately performing high temperature drying processes and low temperature drying processes using a heat pump system, thus preventing agricultural and marine products from being discolored and improving the flavor of the products. The dryer of the present invention includes: a drying cabinet (10) having a main body (11) with a drying air generating chamber (13) formed at one side of the interior of the main body and a drying chamber (14) formed at the other side of the interior of the main body such that carrier-type shelves (15a, 15b) are removably inserted into the drying chamber (14), and air delivering passages (16a, 16b, 16c) are formed between and at both sides of the carrier-type shelves; a dehumidifying means (30) having a dehumidifying chamber (31) formed in the upper portion of the main body (11) such that an endless moisture-absorbing cloth (32) is rotatable on the drying chamber (14) and in the dehumidifying chamber (31) by driving means (33); and a heat pump system (40) having an evaporator (54), a condenser (51), and a suction fan (56) arranged in the drying air generating chamber (13), an outdoor heat exchanger (47) disposed at the dehumidifying chamber (31) such that the outdoor heat exchanger (47) is exposed to outdoor air, and an indoor heat exchanger (44) arranged in the endless moisture-absorbing cloth (32).
