Abstract

The present invention relates to a grass planter which is similar to a self-powered transplanting machine used in rice farming. The grass planter comprises a vehicle-shaped front body, a rear body, a grass supply unit, a plurality of grass planting units, a pressing unit, and a roller. The front body has a self-driven power unit. The rear body is connected to the rear of the front body. The grass supply unit is formed at the front side of the rear body so that a conveyor belt linked with the power unit is inclined at a certain angle, wherein flat panels of lawn grass is supplied downward. The grass planting units are arranged in parallel at a regular distance and comprise: a link unit linked with the power unit; and a blade unit which is connected to the link unit to move up and down. Therefore, the grass planting units plant grass on the ground by cutting the lower part of the grass transferred through the grass supply unit. The pressing unit is linked with the link unit and presses the ground on which grass is planted through the grass planting units. The roller is installed at the lower side of the rear body and hardens the ground on which grass is planted at the rear of the pressing unit. The present invention has an advantage of providing a grass planter with improved efficiency in a grass-planting job.
