Abstract

La présente invention concerne un applicateur servant à appliquer un liquide sur une surface. L’applicateur comporte un réservoir, une tête d’application, une vanne et un joint. On a installé une vanne pour permettre à un liquide de s’écouler dans la tête d’application à partir du réservoir lorsque la tête est ouverte et pour empêcher en grande partie un tel flux lorsque la tête est fermée. L’applicateur peut être déplacé entre une configuration ouverte dans laquelle la vanne est ouverte et une configuration fermée dans laquelle la vanne est fermée. Le joint empêche en grande partie une fuite indésirable de liquide de l’applicateur, entre le réservoir et la tête d’application. Le joint peut également être déformé de façon résiliente et être disposé de manière à ce qu’il soit comprimé lorsque l’applicateur se trouve dans la configuration fermée et de manière à ce que le joint comprimé amène, avec résilience, l'applicateur vers la configuration fermée.
