Abstract

Un dispositif de traitement de matières organiques à une température de processus augmentée comprend : un réacteur à alimentation en matières à traiter, un premier élément d’évacuation pour matières traitées et un second élément d’évacuation pour gaz combustible résultant du traitement; et une chambre de combustion dans laquelle le gaz combustible est soumis à une combustion avec de l’oxygène, par exemple de l’air, et pourvue d’un élément d’évacuation pour le gaz d’évacuation obtenu. Selon l’invention, le dispositif comprend un moyen de réglage de température, par exemple un moyen de mélange servant à mélanger ce gaz d’évacuation à de l’air de refroidissement dans le but d’obtenir un gaz de chauffage; et un moyen de chauffage servant à chauffer la paroi du réacteur, et donc également les matières présentes dans celui-ci, par le gaz de chauffage; de sorte que le processus dans le réacteur, après un chauffage initial par énergie externe, ait lieu de façon autothermique.
