Abstract

In a conventional food waste disposal apparatus, the distance between a transfer screw and the bottom surfaces of a screen and inner case is long, so crushed food waste is not discharged to the outside if the crushed food waste does not reach the height of the transfer screw. Therefore, the crushed food waste stays inside the disposal apparatus, so an offensive odor is caused and various insects are attracted. In addition, when the disposal apparatus is not used, trapped water is easily evaporated, so the function of trapped water is disabled and offensive odor comes up and thus use of the disposal apparatus is very inconvenient. Furthermore, as the disposal apparatus is getting older, center holes of a soft holder are increased and the transfer screw is not elastically tightened. Therefore, water discharge is increased and dehydration efficiency is low. In a food waste disposal apparatus according to the present invention, crushed food waste is directly discharged by a transfer screw while not laminated in an inner case, so offensive odors are not caused and insects are not attracted by remaining residues and the disposal apparatus can be hygienically used. In addition, the present invention makes blades be in contact with the bottom of the inner case by differentiating the heights of the some of the blades formed in the transfer screw. Thus, adhesive residues are stuck to the bottom. Furthermore, a separate pipe for maintaining trapped water is installed, so the trapped water is not evaporated and the reflux of offensive odors is prevented when the disposal apparatus is not used for a long time.
