Abstract

In a device for changing the structure of minerals or the like, in particular for micronizing minerals, comprising rotors (3, 4) with baffles (15; 15.1) between which the minerals or the like are subjected to a dynamic impact and/or friction process in a housing (2.1, 2.2), the oppositely operating rotors are to be designed as rotor discs (3, 4) with annular baffles (15; 15.1) extending axially into the interior of the housing (2) such that the rotor discs (3, 4) pass by one another in the operating state without touching one another. Also indicated are various usage possibilities for the micronized material, such as a material for strengthening plants, improving the fertilizer value of animal wastes, for reducing smells in large scale animal maintenance and for accelerating the composting of wastes.
